Right lately I've noticed our recap'ing isn't as good as it could or should be. So I figured it would be nice to give you some official word on what should be done regarding the issue.
Step 1:When the event is finished, take the "information topic" (the one that would have originally said [Upcoming] War vs X, example -->
http://www.wildernessguardians.com/forum/i...showtopic=3375) and edit the title to say [Over] War vs X (whatever it was). Then proceed to move this topic into the Event Recaps forum. If it is a long prep war that we deem very important, you can move it to the War Archive (only do this if its a CWPL or RAW war really)
Step 2:Write a whole new topic for the recap. Title it [Recap] War vs X and write
an actual recap of what happened, post where we can improve and what we did well, the results, etc. Also make sure that you have the attendance picture posted on this topic! It is pretty important for us to actually make a proper recap so we can see what we did wrong and how to improve.
Step 3: Lock the original "information topic" and place the link at the very top of the post, with something like "Recap found here: (link)". You can also put all of the details in [quote] if you want.
**The poster of the original "information topic" is responsible for the Recap, but it doesn't matter if that person asks someone else to do it as they have no time.
It's very important for us to have proper recaps up so lets make sure that we start doing so. Hopefully this clears up any confusion. The reason I want a whole new topic for the recap is because the idea is to actually recap on the event, not go through a page or two of "100%" then the recap.
