Green Eyes Blazing

So yea...


Brown hair twirling
Green eyes blazing
She’s laughing
Truly an angel
With a smile to die for
She appears so happy
And so full of life

Only when she’s alone
Can the truth be seen
She suffers on her own
Unable to let people know
That once unsheathed
Her pretty, brave face
Is nothing more then a cloak
Shadowing the hurt beneath

She stares at his picture
Two long years it’s been
Since they were one
When he enters her mind
Her tears still run
Dulling those eyes that once blazed
She feels lost and confused
Unable to escape.

It is he she adores
He that she treasures
And she always has
A fool he must be
Not to see what she’s worth
And its he I envy at
For I would do anything
To be loved like that.
