WEEKLY War Practice

Ok most of you know by now, but I didn't see a thread so I'll post it.
We NEED you to host 2 war practice sessions a week.
One needs to be late aussie/ early GMT friendly, one needs to be evening est / late GMT.


ANYWAYS.

The point of these is that they are now a requirement of trial guardians to graduate. If they haven't been added to that topic, well they will be soon.

Each trial will need to attend one war practice in their first month in order to graduate, and perhaps members should/will be required to attend in order to stay in the clan. The 2nd hasn't been discussed, but the trial thing has.

So as you can see it is IMPERATIVE that you get this worked out.
If you don't want to do the same times every week that's fine. I also don't care what kind of war practice you have.
In fact I would ENCOURAGE variety.

One week have bind practice.
The next have tanking practice.
The next focus on sniping.
The next have a W141 hour and focus on it.
Perhaps work on new tactics.

For the love of god though be creative.

You all are very smart and very talented but we are in a gigantic rut of "Melee + Binds" where everyone is bored and sucks at it.

Step it up and do something different.
As long as it is a positive thing and it's twice a week I don't care. All I know is you have the power to make a difference and inspire the clan.

Please discuss it here, don't just say "Understood" work out times and talk amongst yourselves. This needs to happen and it needs to happen soon.

I have a few ideas on how to add a lot of variety to the tank practices I host. The times you put up seem very... well in fact they're effectively EXACTLY the same :S 11:30pm GMT and midnight GMT? Nah The ones i host will be ~9pm GMT if school nights, 10pm GMT for holidays/weekends (It's currently holidays )

I think Glenn was going to be focusing on Aussie friendly times, and we were going to try and get a good variety of times going, ensuring that the times would be random throughout the weeks in order to ensure that people can make it to them some of the time.

Main problem we need to focus on for practices: Hybriding and tanking/ko resilency

I can probably cover EST+GMT, maybe aussie times fairly well. Glenns closest to Aussie times so he'll have to do some of that

Ok I edited out the times, they were pointless.
Instead I'll say this.

BTO it's on you to have one between 7 and 10 pm est.
That is the dead hole for events for some reason, when it should be one of our strongest times.

I realize we have GMTers, but americans never get evening events.

Here is how I think it should play out or at least how makes sense to me.

Mugger - 9 pm GMT
Rob - 11 pm GMT
BTO - 9 pm EST
DZ - 11 pm EST
Glenn - 4 PM Sydney (Should be 11 his time if my math is right)

Perhaps either Rob or Mugger could do an occasional 11 am GMT or so to allow Aussies better time.

However if you do that and get them rotated well, everyone is happy.
If you stick with the safe times I.E everyone clusterfuck hosts at 9 pm GMT and smiles, then the same people show up and everything stays the same.

By doing the above, you can then ensure that at random you cover all of the possible time(zone)s in 2.5 weeks, meaning all Trials get the opprtunity to make it to a tank practice. Works imo.
