I would like to get a council-only view on the matter as well.

In its current form I would be strongly opposed to us taking part in the next CWPL because:
-It has been too long, 7 weeks per season is just too many fights.
-We put too much focus on it.
-CWPL has caused us to ignore important other things at the detriment of our community.
In fact even if there was significant changes to CWPL I do not want to see us in it next season, I think we should look into reducing the amount of official/Full outs and go for more informal (fun) war's and mini's, as has been suggested previously.
For us ever to return to CWPL I would realistically like to see the seasons shorten significantly, and rather than having every season be 7 weeks I would realistically want to have it 4 weeks on 4 weeks off kind of arrangement. Since I cannot see CWPL doing this I cannot see us rejoining it, as it really is suited to powerhouse clans that only wish to "war war war" in its current format.

I think we should wait and see what the new criteria for the season are. If it's roughly the same, I'd love to pull out and keep to RAW ranks.

Anyways... I'm tired of a war a week.
I'm tired of feeling guilty for having plans one or two saturdays a month and looking like i'm inactive and uncommitted.
I want to return to the days of a war every 3 weeks, where we can truly get pumped and perform our best.
I want to return to 4-5 miniwars a week, because those are what built WG and those are where a lot of fun lies.
The one variable that I want to wait and see is who else drops out of CWPL.
If there are enough clans that we can still have competition outside of it, then let's stay out. If once again EVERYONE is in it, then we won't be able to find fights and we should join.
For now I say out.

It's too stressful aswell, most of the clans want stupid rules which you have to accept.
