Quest Cape in "Retirement"

By panther12412 on 14/07/2008
So I guess some of you know that I'm not really retired, I've been questing trying to get something that shows the hard work done over time. So being retired from combat I'm doing quests. These quests remain.. that I have the levels for

ALL COMPLETE! 2 that I don't have reqs for.

These are some quests I need to meet Requirements for and need ideas to get them

As a First Resort (34/48 Hunter)
Rocking Out (63/69 Smithing, 60/63 Theiving, 63/66 Crafting)

Any suggestions on leveling up or letting me know if I can skillshare in quests will be helpful
Also let me know which quests seemed fun to you, cause most of these are booooring!

Hey Panther, glad to see your getting your QP (who am I kidding, I've known about this for days)

Anyways here are some suggestions for the skill requirements:

Hunter: Train on swamp lizards (East of Canifis)
Slayer: Well thats obvious.
Thieving: Pyramid Plunder minigame (In Sophanem)
Smithing: Goldsmith gaunts with gold ore (Expensive. Use port phasmyst or Edgeville furnace.)
Crafting: Use the bars you get from smithing to make ammys.

For Herblore.. just find a potion that doesn't lose a lot of cash when you make/resell it. For farming I went from 53 to 66 by willow trees/pineapple plants. You can't do pineapple plants until 51, though. Its a slow process but 51 farming from 47 should not take long. Just find trees to grow, it really doesn't require much work.

Oh and btw.. Darkness of Hallovale, IMO, is almost as bad as ME2. Not nearly as frustrating, though.

For smithing what do you think of buying steel bars making cannonballs and selling them? profitable at least

Fairytale 2 (54/57 Herblore, 48/49 Farming)

You want that quest panth. You'll find the fairy ring transportation comes in quite handy for other quests.

By Yingyang06 on 16/07/2008
Good luck You only have to start the quest in order to use the rings.

i generally found all the quests enjoyable, if you do need any help just message me on irc/here, i think you can skill share. not 100% sure.

good luck - the quest cape is a great cape to have, most people are too lazy to get it, its the least mindless cape.

11 more quests, I ended up using potions/ mature ales to finish some of the quests i didn't meet reqs for such as Fairy Tale 2 and Devious Minds.
