App Managers

There's now a further step to be done, you have no part in it, but I'm just telling you so that you don't accept the App earlier.

If you've noticed under Multi Moderation, each App has to be "Council Approved", meaning a Council pressed that button to say "Yep, App Manager may go ahead now"

We want to make it harder to get into WG.
Adding another feasible step does that.
The more eyes that are looking for mis-steps, the more likely we are to find them.

then whats the point in me waiting for a council to approve? might as well accept it yourself then >.<

I'd have to agree with Zlat, that kind of makes us pointless.. If council is going to go through the trouble of reading the app and saying "Council Approved", why not just take the next step and go "Accepted."

In my opinion the council should educate the App Managers as to what it takes for an app to be 'council approved' so that the App managers can take on that role... otherwise you might as well delete the application managers rank and say that council are the ones to accept the applications from now on :S

App managers are around to do stuff like add to ML, change to trial, and answer trial's questions.

Honestly the part that you guys DON'T need is ACP, I think Council could take care of changing ranks. However new members need someone to go to in order to get their questions answered, and app manager makes sense.

It's not my place to pull ACP though.

The whole reason for the app manager rank was to take some load off the council, now your just putting it back on your selves again. I don't see why you have to approve it before we accept it.

Besides, I can bet atleast 50% of the apps that you guys approve you wont even read. Prove me wrong here

I would say the acceptance ratio over the last 6 months has been 97%. Perhaps higher.

It has resulted in an inactive community and a weakened one.
If having one more "check" in the process will stop that then who is to complain?

So your saying we have to wait for you to say "approved" so we can do all our work? and Tmal, we dont need ACP? you seriously think we are going to do all boring work such as add people to memberlist and PM them that they have been accepted?
I'm not going to wait for council to approve applications , if I see an app then I will do it without your approval. I think i've been in this clan long enough to decide whatever the application is good or not.
If you don't like the way im doing it then demote me.
