You Wonder Why WG Is Losing Members

i went on irc today asking people if they wanted to quest with me because i only have 9 quests left and i made the comment that a clan is more then just about hilts and god drops... i then got this message from abs the great and mighty leader of wg... yeah the same guy who has been to the talks about getting the wg out of the slump its in... the same guy posting messages in the fourms also trying to help wg out of this slump...




to think i was accepted into wg with open arms... my old clan that back stabbed me came saying junk about me and everyone was like eff that we got you homie your wg now... then to have the famous leader of wg hit me up in a private message tellinh me basically because he didnt like my opinion he would kick me... im sure after this message this post will be locked and ill be ip banned... but this is why wg wont get out of its slump... a leader who is a dictator... immolatus2

A strong and influential member is exactly what WG needs right now. I dont see how he is starting drama. He has been an amaizing member so far, one of the best trials I've seen. Him expressing his opinions (which are pretty correct) is what we need. Not some people sitting back and waiting for shit to hit the fan and then fucking off.

William, He has no right zeroing out on you, we are all wanting to get WG from this slump, and you are correct. The clan is not all about God Wars or any other monster killing, Peoples attitude got us into this mess, and im sure as hell would think it could get us out of this mess too. A primary leader has no right saying what he did. Your past is yours past and your alone, We all make mistakes and we pay for it sooner or later. You were welcome with open arms and then shit on like you were grass.

You have not created Drama, if you call wanting WG out of this mess Drama then im guilty too. Please reconsider.

1. You're a trial. Loyalty isn't just how much commitment you show, it's also how long you can show that commitment. You have no right to say Abs doesn't care about WG, because frankly, how do we know you care about WG? You haven't even been here for a month..

2. Abs may have been a bit wrong with that comment, but you have COMPLETELY blown it out of proportion.

3. How do we know your clan backstabbed you? Anyone could come here with an awful past (not saying you do) and say 'My clan backstabbed me', you could've backstabbed them and been a shit to them for all we know.

I think you are over reacting Immo. This is the second time you're quitting? To be honest, I would very rarely join someone who needs to do a quest if I don't feel like it or I'm doing something more enjoyable with more friends at the time like Godwars and then you get all hissy about it? I know you were talking about doing everything with friends on TS and how we should all do it but sometimes you just have to do stuff on your own and not get angry when no one responds to you. I'm not trying to flame bait, be mean, cause you harm by saying this, it is hopefully for you to understand well. I know that you are trying to be really involved in helping WG but sometimes I just feel that you act too big for your boots. Yet again, I'm not trying to flame you and if anyone quotes me saying I should shut up you can read it however you want to.

Mini slump? This is more than a mini slump! It doesnt matter HOW long you have been in this clan! I know his dedication towards this clan is truth full. No he has not blown this out of proportion, Abs is primary leader. It is only fair he posts his concerns so that other members do not make the same mistake.

His so called Drama is because he wants this clan to flurish, he has tried his damn hardest to put across his suggestion especially on the teamspeak suggestion night. I was here for a total of 2 weeks before people began to trust me. So it does NOT take a month.

I trust William completely, as i said in my other post. Peoples attitudes towards other members who want this clan to flourish got is into this mess. Do you see abs trying his best to get us from this slump? He's always at God Wars. He has left the council to do it for him. The is no use flaming because of this, i am behind william 100%.

This is nothing more than a mini-slump. I am sure WG has been through wayy harder times as old-schoolers will tell you. I would bet my bank WG will find light at the end of the tunnel.

Back on the main topic. Simon, I don't know what you know about his old clan and stuff like that but I can tell how much you believe in him. I find it fine he is suggestions what he believes correct and is working his socks off for the good of WG, but I hate how he makes it seem his ideas and work is above what Abs has done for WG.

For all we know, he could leave in the next two weeks. It's like because he made a few suggestions and worked hard for a couple of weeks, you're all blinded from what Abs has done for WG in the past, and the bad points that Immo might bring along.

As gus said, this is an extreme over-reaction, and just adds to the drama, whatever you think.

If you have a problem with Abs, why not talk to Abs? You're immediately portraying him as someone who will not listen, which is completely false. You need to give people a chance if you're going to start judging them.

Immo, your a good person, I know. But every time I look at IRC, one of the only things I see from you is something like "Wow, you guys don't even care to help me with my quest. I guess when I get my cape I can proudly say I did it on my own because no one wanted to help me." etc etc.

There was no need to say what you've said. A lot of us don't like quests. A lot of us have done the quests that you have already done. A lot of us are currently busy with something and don't want to leave to do a quest. There are so many explanations of why people didn't help you. I've asked for quest partners numerous times before, and not once did anyone help. I could reasonably figure out why, and accepted it.

I feel that what Abs said was perfectly acceptable. All he said was that if you truely did something that you should not have in your former clan, he may kick you for it. Thats basically the same as kicking someone because we just found out they were ex-NH. its perfectly fine IMHO. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you did something wrong. I'm just saying that if you did, it would be acceptable)

Alright Immo, if you think I have disrespected you, I will apologise for my actions.

However, your previous clans did say a lot of bad things about you, but I have put that out of the way and given you a second chance when you were accepted, when you were "Creating Drama" in the IRC today, I didn't like it. You were asking members to quest with you, and I think that is such a brilliant idea, Wg is really good at it, we used to have Clan Quests were we would have 30-40 odd members questing with each other.

However, when you started to complain about how no one was helping you to "quest", that did not work, people did not want to quest mainly because they are not ready to quest at such short notice.

Now, members can make their own Events, could you not have made a Clan Quest event which has about 3 days notice for people to find out and come to quest with you? 10 Minutes notice on the IRC would mean that you would not get the response you want.

Even though, some of our delightful members are willing to quest with you at such sort notice, and I think that you will all benefit from it. I was only trying to defend WG when you complained about how people didn't help you quest. I said:

Then I realised that you were trying to create drama, when NOT needed, IRC is a bit personal, I don't think an argument about how people go to Godwars a lot makes people leave Wg is needed on IRC, especially at this moment in time. If you wanted, you could have made a topic in Forums. You can complain about mostly anything in Forums. Anyway, I replied with:

It's Wg's own time. We don't force Wg to go to Questing with other members lol. We don't force Wg to go to events. Wg have personal goals of their own, whether it be collecting 100m for Equipment, or going for 99 Cons and so on. The point of joining a clan is so that they can have fun on Runescape with other people, forcing people to do things isn't the way to go. You can ask nicely on #Wg to help you do your questing, which you did, and which 2 members I think accepted, but you cannot carry on and complain about how Wg doesn't help you.

That statement means that you are trying to complain in #Wg about how people are not helping you to quest, this is because they are busy at their current time, it is their choice, Immolatus.

I am sorry about threatening to kick you, but when a Council+ asks you to do something, such as "Please don't create Drama in the IRC Chat", I expect you to do it. If you have a problem with how Wg works, there is a suitable forum which you are using correctly to show that I am disrespectful.

Oh, and as Tnuac stated, I'm not the person for ignoring Wg Members, if you want to talk about something, I'm always free to talk, there's more after that pm and how I've concerned about your problem with Wg, but you did not seem to respond.

Yes, Abs' PM was SLIGHTLY out of line, but yes this is also over-exaggurating it.

The following paragraph addresses some of the TS Rants from the other night, the 'you's are You Plural not Singular I go on to address this post in particular in the paragraph afterwards.

While on the topic of 'Too many people do GWD', can i please remind you that what people do in their free times is up to them. If they want to go make some money with some friends using their hard earned levels, that's up to them. If they want to train up their levels so that they can go to GWD, that's also up to them. You shouldn't be slagging people off for 'not helping' because they go to GWD just because you can't go yourself. I agree that we should 'help you', but i personally am not going to hold your hands through every singe xp you get.


Immo, as far as this post is concerned, i've always regarded pasting a PM (Private Message) on the boards as being both cowardly and proving yourself to be untrustworthy =\ When you have a discussion in a Private Message, that's a private conversation between you and one person, it is not directed at the entire clan, and so shouldn't be available for the whole clan to Read.

The PM does seem to be relatively out of order, but that's without putting it into the context of what was happening on the IRC Channel at the time. (Note i can paste it without any hits on my concience as it's a PUBLIC conversation.

i have alot of respect for you now abs... after people post please close this down... you just proved to me how loyal you are... i missed your last irc pms due to my internet messing up... im at a loss for words now... i truly believed you didnt care about my ideas and opinions and you have stated diffrently... please accept my apoligy and i hope we can move on...
