Ahhh, feels good to be back

Thank you to all those who came onto these forums in my defense, which includes, two of my oldest friends in RS, Docster and Lordy.

While it's true that I've been banned from WG many times over, I feel as if the last ban was unwarranted, and apparantly so did Council. They're trying to do a good job guys, cut them a little slack.

You're right though. WG has become a cesspool for the illiterate, the power hungry, and people who think they know it all. Do I really want to be a part of this again? I'm torn with that question because deep down, I KNOW WG can succeed and want to help make that happen, but on the other hand, I see alot of things that need to be addressed and taken care of but aren't.

Kiwi, you said something interesting in one of the threads here on Guest Forum and I'd like to take a second to address that. I believe, and don't quote me on this, but you said "I thought, and still think many people would like me banned since I say what I think." If this statement it true WG, then why isn't Kiwi banned? After all, if you think about it long and hard enough, isn't that the reason I was banned so many times? I'm not picking on you Kiwi, I just needed to use you as an example as to the fairness that being shown me.

There are alot of great people in this clan and there were even more back in the day. Those days are gone, my friends. WG will never be what we remember...the good times, the laughs, the cabbage eating pk trips, getting hit by your own teammate's spell while pking (ahem DOCSTER), the community...it's all over. There's nothing we can do to regain those days, they're gone forever, however, the great thing about it is there isn't one person who was ever in this clan that can say they didn't have a great time and it'll always be a fond memory, until the day we die.

I have talked to many people about this clan and even got a blessing to apply by Abmanju....granted he said I needed to behave, but nonetheless, after everything that WG and I have been through, for him to go out on a limb and say, "You know what Rick, you're an ass, but you're still welcome here." That says alot about his character (Oh, and no he didn't really say that, it's more like a...forget it, you wouldn't understand).

On to some shoutouts....

Chachi!!!! How did I know that you'd be here watching my back? Sorry to see about your demotion. It WAS warranted, I believe, but not handled correctly. Perhaps communication is something else WG needs to work on.

Lordy!!!! What can I say? I never once thought you'd come and post on one of my threads as an Ex Member. Then again, I never thought you'd post on one of my threads as an ally against the inproprieties of WG either. lol Interesting how things take shape when you look at it from the outside, huh? Oh and the memories that come back after visiting the older forums....classic times there.

Steve!!!! Nothing but love bro. Thoroughly laughed my ass off over the Zimbabwe comment. Thanks for allowing me into your chat. I really have a good time there. Everyone is friendly and willing to help me get back in the game. It's a pleasure and an honor to be there.

Mike!!!! Still one of the best pkers I've ever had the chance to fight with. This kid is truly remarkable, not only in RS, but in life.

Jen!!! Still playing WoW? I never get to see or talk to you anymore to catch up on things. I hope that will change soon.

Thomas!!! Dude, you and I go way back, through good times and bad, however, here we are still talking and getting along as if nothing ever happened. THAT is what makes you a great leader. You're willing to forego the past and look at the present AND the future. You don't hold grudges and are always willing to talk and THAT is what makes you a great person. WG should really take a look at you and try to act more like you.

Most importantly, I'd like to give a shout out to 3 individuals who really helped make all this happen (by fighting for my unban).

All 3 of you have been friends of mine for quite some time now. This is what WG is all about. The friendships that are made can't be broken, no matter what happens. A while back, I forgot about that. I sincerely hope I can repay to you three, the kindness and the friendship you've shown me, not only in the past few days, but for the past few years.

Thank you to everyone else...Colinwarrior, Eregion, Twiz, Karl, Tnuac, and anyone else I missed. It's not intentional, I assure you. I'm just getting older and more forgetful every passing moment.

We'll see what the future holds but for now, I'm not even thinking about attempting to rejoin here until a few things get fixed...like...well, nevermind, because as one person told me the other day "it's not your place to sort things out". Thank you Robert, for that reality check. It really means alot to me that someone like you can set me straight...now if you don't mind....go take a long walk off a short dock please...and again, thank you. (Holy hell, I made it through an entire post without flaming anyone!!!! GO ME!!!! )
