Diplomat rank

By Groedius on 21/07/2008
After some thought I believe we could benefit more from more allied events. So i thought we should designate a person who is friendly with our allied clans and can arrange more allied events as i believe lately there has been a lack of events with our allies and this is the best way to get to know our allies. With a lack of allied events we will draw further away from our allies and this could compromise our alliance

Dale's probably the... *cough* friendliest with TDM and TBE tongue.gif I don't think a whole new rank would be needed, just tell Dale to organise some tongue.gif

I believe the event leaders organize events with our allies, maybe if your not happy with the amount of allied events, speak to an events leader/raid leader about making more smile.gif.

Indeed thats basically what i aim for also maybe we could give them the name of a specific person that they could contact and i know TDM has a seperate channel on the IRC were you can go to ask for wars or events

We had an event last night (I know it wasnt with our allies) , it was the Mass Trawler with Gladz, Mori, RE, RR, etc... but no one showed apart from 4 people and me.

I'm not gonna host allied events unless I can be assured that people will come, because it is plain embarassing turning up to host an event with TBE/TDM where they have like 20 people and WG has 2....
Embarrassing.

If people are on at event times they should come tbh sad.gif

Gorge , the reason people didnt attend the event is because I recived a PM from glimtee 8 mins before it should start and Spammed the IRC channel. The creater of the event didn't show up and thats why not many attended since we sort of forgot about it.

On the topic , I dont think that is needed, another rank for one member?
and besidse Dale knows our allies best tbh as he spends probably most time with them.

No.
Raid Leaders and Event Leader are NOT over worked.
If you want more allied events, they can do it. No new designations needed.

Apart from what Zlat mentioned, I think we need to see what the members actually want as events. If they want Castlewars, we give them Castlewars. If they want to do Trouble Brewing, we give them Trouble Brewing.

I'm sure that there are still loads of people who enjoy Trawler and such, but if we know what the clan actually enjoys, it could potentially increase our turnout to not only Allied Events, but our own events too.

i agree we need to keep our allies strong right... is that not the point of this post... seems most here are scared of maybe another seat of power in the clan... all that was brought up was more allied events, can you wg leaders make this happen please...???... or do allies not matter anymore/???

We've tried on many occasions to get events going with them, they never really seem eager too or can find the time too.
