Allied forums

By Groedius on 21/07/2008
I was thinking today of our allies and having more allied events. Indeed more time spent with our allies and more events would be fun, However I would bet that most WG cannot even name 5 members of TDM and 5 members of TBE. So i came to the conclusion that we should have either an allied forum or IRC channel were we could hang out and get to know our allies better on a more personal level this would most lead to more events and a stronger alliance between us.

Now i move on to the purpose of these forums. They will be used to arrange allied events at date and times suitable for the clans involved and for us to be able to get to know our allies better. With this more time spent with our allies we will gain more friends and feel more like allies and more of a part of a bigger community. This would lead to a closer friendship with our allies and we could also assist each other more in game aswell as the loaning of items to each other.

Complements to Ali for helping me with this <3

Not only will this increase joint events it also helps built a strong alliance and helps us as runescape players to become more experience. The main point of this is communication, good idea Andrew.

I like this idea. What are allies for after all, if we don't even know who they are?

I would prefer community or skill events with them.
TBE and TDM are NOT clans that give us good practice warring and beating them gives false confidence.

That seems sound enough to me also the thing is

TDM is more skills orientated and they have lower requirements combat wise then us. So community events would be more of an interest for us both

TBE could be perhaps somewhat of better competition for practice perhaps.

Besides you do not really war your allies we are more working for a closer community.

I like this idea. He speaks no lies, I honestly don't know anybody from our allied clans. :|

I'd like to make more friends, who doesn't? tongue.gif

I'm all for it, just as long as there's no joint combat stuff. I really don't want to have to listen to another Wardle-led pile again in my life.

A few months ago we were practicing against TBE like weekly and we beat the living hell out of them every time.
