Good Memories

Post some good memories from the old days.

And no, this topic isn't to make us miss the old WG. Things will ALWAYS change, theres no getting around that. In my 3 years (or whatever it is now), I used to spend time considering WG's current state. Every time, I was drawn back into wishing it was like the old days. Then 6 months later, I'd think back on the good times just 6 months ago. Yes, the old wg was great, so we're remembering it, but if you try to relive the old wg, new moments might just pass you by.

Yeah, a little thought in this topic. Now, just post some good times you've had back in the day.

I remember when Gene shut down WG for a weekend when Harry Potter 7 came out All events were cancelled that weekend

I remember my first raid. We ran into GLADZ and the fight was total chaos (these were the old days, before a "main pile" and "hugging") so it was a massive cluster near the members-gate area. I remember I had no idea what to do, so I followed Chaddaman124 because he was one of the only WG names I knew at the time. I then remember both clans walking down to Edgeville together, while fighting, and I had a conversation with a level 119 who was attacking me on the way down :<

Yeah we were on a raid, then Lord Xin told Gene that Harry Potter was out, shortly followed by His lordship logging rofl.
Lord Xin being afraid of spiders so, Gene got Xin to lead whenever we passed spider hill.
Xin dying first every raid. Philapeeno always killing me on MB trips as a joke .
Gene playing piano on Noricle's vent server, with a loud bang, we assumed that he infact, died on the piano.
DoA "suicide team" consisting of us rangers and barrage/bursts, yet i managed to last the whole fight, until FoM killed me shortly after
Declaring on Anarchy when they were top 5, and we had barely 50 members, was more about standing up for ourselves then winning.
Counter Attacking Ts crew's crash while i was leading a p2p raid since i was in their ts server listening in, lost connections with a bunch of alright blokes, but oh well :S

There are so many things that happened within my 3 years. There aren't enough words to describe how it was. But their were some moments that I hated back then but I enjoy and laugh at now. For example Ban Unit , /me glares at Mango.

The first time I ever came to an APK Trip with you guys, the day after I joined...

PurePker (Replace letters with numbers) was in the Clan...I ran up and said "HI, PANDA MAN" and he killed me.

Got kicked out 3 days later.


One of my favorite memories was when I first became a Mod...Joe (Jesuslislord6 for you new nubs out there ) was Council...he turned me and like three other people to the Turtle Rank. I was Turtle Mod.

Raiding with WG at GDS n RR with " TELE RUNES !!!! ( 3X AIR, 1X LAW, 1X FIRE ) i was epic lol. I pked in hides and rune scim !!. No other rune peice what so ever.

Random wild trips with kero2 !! I hosted and had many members lead and get the use of things. People got to know each other and gained lots of rune.

All of the old members and the hilarious moments and funny things that happen. Like rh47, aussie arrow, troyjen, sir dazzy, marsgars and the others none of you new people dont knw.

FoB unit !!! The best orginization ever in WG. We beat l33t or noob unit forgot which it was.

Theres wayyy too many things i can mention over my 3+ years. And so many i shall hold for the rest of my life. Thank you all of you.

Oh and not to forget my random DG WG raid trips that resulted in us gaining too much and having to bank and gain more people lol.

I remember on one of my first raids, I was so excited and nervous I wapped Lordy a good one. Later he was asking who had the rune mace and I had to confess. At least I did not kill him.

Haha Rai I remmeber Turtle rank. Kero FoB forever. Getting 2 barrows items on WG Barrows day while nobody else got anything the whole day, lol and I did 3 trips only also.

My first raid was in p2p, around members gate. We ran into DI? I think and got pwnt. I remember Shark 160 and Eckzr were there. We sucked lol only like 5 out of the 20 were fighting, the rest of us were worrying about our rune. Then again that was 05.

I ended up logging out l0l. I wasn't ready to risk my rune & glory for my beloved clan yet.

Remember how P2P raids were pretty much lure trips only. We would DD at the scorpions, send someone to lure people at Mage Bank, and KO the guy who we would catch. I was a meleer and I would never get any kills because the mages and rangers, with their ability to hit from longerange would always KO them.

Yeha, the turtle rank was funny Remember when James got the "Head Moderator" rank, or whatever it was called. James declined it


I remember when Geohood was council, he turned me into the "Estonian Airforce" rank for a bit. I'll post a screenie in a bit.


Also, I remember my first raid. I was so scared to be out in the wildy. My computer was slow, so I'd log into worlds late, and I'd constantly bug Xort, who I thought was my closest friend at the time, to tell me where we were. I was always afraid I'd loose my addy, I think it was addy.

Chief Mod hehe. At least I can say I was the only one in this Clan to ever get that.

I feel so special now.

In p2p on top of the lvl 50 castle, we killed ghjjf, then Di charged us, i lasted 3 seconds.

The all mage raid, we killed a few randomers and then ran into the TMRD all range raid.

Luring with stokenut at agility course, i got barraged to death.

At a war Jrm 04 went out in a mixture of rune(g) (t) and Zammy, he died. I then got a kill right at the end with a rune set and Jrm's stuff#

All i can think of atm

All the flaming I got when I was Council.

Especially from Rick when I banned Rick.

Being one of the early Raid Leaders and having to make a rant after pretty much every raid cos of the state of them.

Me and Mango racing to 99 attack and defence respectively.

RoT crashing my 99 attack party so I missed the screenie .

The RR + WG + CL + Juniors clans vs DS F2P war, being one of the first to die.

Winning the RR war.

3 hitting Parth23-Jani in a DM.

Being 3 hit by EckZr with Vengeance.

Lots lots more.

Too many memories to count. I'll just name Kenshln's friends vs Tidus's friends. Tidus had like 1k opts and Ken is a noob and only had maxed opts. We got raped. KF raids were always fun =D
