Pro Silentium Postponed + New Skills Olympics!

So the staff have been having lots of talks lately and we have come to a few decisions!

1. Pro Silentium Postponed

The Council have decided that Pro Silentium is to be postponed for one month.
It will re-start in the first week of September with Month 3 (Defence + Magic).

By doing this, it will give members a much needed break and will also give the staff some time to actually play rs


2. Skill of the Week Re-Opened

Anatcrafter came to me today expressing his desire to re-start Skill of the Week as soon as possible (to run alongside PS).
Even though PS has now stopped, SotW has restarted.

Voting for the next SotW has already begun and the voting will close (and sign-ups will begin) on Friday 1st August.
Sign-ups will close and competition will begin on Monday 4th August at 9am GMT.

3. Skills War vs TDM

A skills war is currently being arranged vs TDM.
This is going to be a war for the duration of one week from the 16th of August ----> 23rd August.

Sign-ups will begin on the 5th August and will finish a week later on the 12th August.
Materials will then be gathered until the 15th August, ready for the start of the olympics.

Each member may sign up for no more than two skills with a maximum of 5 people per skill.
NB : Slayer will have 10 spots open.

There will be no summoning, no herblore and no construction in this olympics and obviously no combat stats including prayer, range, magic.

A new forum is going to be made for the Skills Olympics, of which Ali (Renoldojr10) is going to be a mod, so he can take an active part in helping and setting up.

I would like to add that Ali himself has spent a lot of time arranging this with TDM, so please show him some gratitude by trying your hardest!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take part in the olympics, it's only for one week and we must beat TDM to remain undefeated

well im on holiday for skill war thats a shame and dont really care much for skill of the week its ok idea and PS ive not been a fan of

PS being postponed is a huge blow to me as i hoped to be able to train my magic to 99 next month >.< Oh well, i'll train it the month after. As a result i suppose if i did take part in the SO then i'd be pretty useless as i'd be training my mage for PS :\
