Soul Calibur IV

Just came out this week, epic fighting game ftw! Anybody else got it?

So far I've beaten story/arcade with about 15 characters combined, it's REALLY short, but it's really fun too. The graphics are amazing and you can customize them for online play to no end, including looks, weapons, powerups, and more. It's awesome.

BTW, I just played my first online battle, and my first opponent had replicated Naruto as a custom character. >< PHAIL.

Anyway... My fav characters:

Cervantes, Kilik, Nightmare, Taki, Maxi


Right now I'm using a female Cervantes dressed up as a white and pink Cat. She's hawt and insanely overpowered.

Got it for the PS3- it's a fun game, and I like the SP modes; however if there is a single genre of games I absolutely suck at online, it's fighting games >_<.

I can manage to memorize lots of moves for a given character, it's just piecing it together in battle and managing to defend myself that I fail epically at .

I'll stick with my fps' for online play. Less think, more kill.

I own SC2, friend had SC3. Like the franchise, one of my favorite fighting games, but probably not gonna pick up 4.

4 makes 2 and 3 looks like crap. It's so much better in every way. YOU CAN MAKE UR OWN PPL AND SHOW THEM OFF ONLINE FFS

I don't get it. I saw the advert and it has old ninjas versus star wars dudes? Sounds unfair to me

Still haven't decided if I wanted it or not, but there's finally a demo on the Marketplace. So, I'll try it out and see if I like it.

I honestly rape with Taki & Cassandra.

I made a custom with a Taki fighting style, which I mainly use online.

My combos are amazing, I can take away about half of someones hp bar before they can stand up.

Cervantes is the man.
Mitsurugi and Raphael share second, for me.
And, alternatively, I also prefer Siegfried, Talim and Yoshimitsu.

I still have to practice doing Mitsurugi's slide-input slash and Cervantes' mid-air teleport attack and mid-air catch. Other than that, I'm fairly fluent.

I haven't fought online yet, though... My gold membership expired...

I bought htis game, Ive made a few custom characters and my freind has made a few as well. I mainly use my custom Kilik, Voldo, and sometimes Talim. I'm absolutely awful with Cervantes . But yeah, Ive played online, and only have a winning percentage of 50% because I let my friend play and he kind of killed it :S. The games awesome though, I like it. Also, Ive beaten the story/campaign with all characters, besides a few custom ones that I created...story gets boring after a while xD.
