Clan vs Clan Events

Clan vs Clan Events

They will consist of either a Bounty Hunter, Clan Wars Arena or Free for All Arena in F2p or in P2p.

-You are expected to have prepared gear during the week to be able to attend, and that gear must be acceptable.
-You are expected to come to the minimum amount of events required per month (an average of one per week).

When will events be?

Raid Leaders or Council memberswill post the massing times and places, details about the event, a few days in advance. The events will most of the time take place during weekends, but some may happen during the week, hence why you need gear ready at all times.

Please check the events forum regularly, as some events are arranged only a few hours before they start.

You must read all the information posted in Fighting Announcements, War Forum, Fighting Events to learn about upcoming events.
You must be on IRC at the time of an event.
You must be on Teamspeak at the time of an event.

What do I bring to a Fighting Sector event?

F2p Bounty Hunter (Item Loss):

If you are meleeing, you are asked to bind-hybrid, as binds are vital in the Bounty Hunter Crater, to prevent people from running out.

Melee (100+ Combat)

Mage (90+ Magic)

Range (90+ Range)

(Those are Adamant Arrows)

P2p Bounty Hunter (Item Loss):

This is of course the minimum.

Melee (100+ Combat)

Mage (90+ Mage)

Adjust your runes to the types of spells you're using. You must use ancient magicks. Be careful not to bring only multi hitting spells.

Range (90+ Range)

P2p Clan Wars Arena (No item loss):

Bring the best gear you can afford.

F2p Clan Wars Arena (No item loss):

Refer to F2p Bounty Hunter gear.

What do I do on a Fighting Sector event?

-Always listen and follow the Leaders' instructions & commands. Here is a bit of vocabulary:
-"Fall In": Follow the person who says it, or said person (Fall in on <person>)
-"DD": Death Dot - use your minimap to move to the one square where everybody will stand.
-"W <username>": Attack the called username, and repeat "W <username>" until the target is dead. This is called spamming.
-"Hugging": Running around rocks to shake off the people attacking you.

-Be silent unless you have something important to say. Priviledge TS for communication.
-Do not run off to attack somebody if not instructed to.
-Do not run out of the battle (out of the crater or out of the war arena) or boundaries if they have been set.

In battle:

When you are attacking people:
-Spam "W <username>" and keep right clicking that person to bind him, then to attack him. Attack, bind, attack, bind, attack bind.
-Save around 30% of your energy, to be able to hug efficiently afterwards. In P2p, you should be able to restore your energy with purple sweets. Do save some.

When you are getting attacked:
-Put on the protect from melee prayer (or the appropriate protect prayer in P2p).
-Put on defensive gear and run to an obstacle, run around it to shake off your opponents.

In pay to play, always have a protective prayer turned on. Range or Melee is preferable.

I can understand 90+ ranged on f2p, but why 90+ mage? It makes no difference since the highest spell you can do is at level 59. 80+ mage would make you hit more, 90+ is to high considering the ammount of mages we (don't) get.

id say f2p mages shouldnt take rune as it will give them a white skull.

mellee wearing full rune makes the other teams want to kill them for the loot so if you have the mages as a brown skull theres less reason to attack them

Good. Also I believe rune boots can be substituted by climbing boots?

Snakeskin boots good for rangers tbh

another thought, in p2p id probably rather have a lvl 85 ranger taking d bolts, maybe even diamond bolts over a lvl 90 ranger taking addy

By Reticked on 04/02/2008
Yeah, I'm 85 mage and it looks good enough to me :@

Or they kill the mages to eliminated a high value (tactically) target. wink.gif
