Your opinion.

As you can see we're losing members, and the members that are leaving are the active ones, which is harming us. I want to know what you think would be happening right now if the sectors didn't exist.

Yes I'm against them right now, I feel that since we're so small right now we need to remove the sectors and go back to the old system:

Community Leaders: Moderators
Skills Leaders: Event Co-ord
Raid Leaders: Raid Leaders

Guardian: Member
Higher Guardian: ?
Elite Guardian: Senior Member

Community Members: Emeritus

The council would come together as a hole instead of having one sector to look after theres 4 of them looking after the whole clan. This would also mean all the actives from the Skills + Fighting would be combined and therefor make the clan more active as a whole. Now no one that was in the skills sector would be booted if they didn't meet the requirements, just it'd be more of an option to go to fighting events or not, this is more of a special thing.

Once the clan gets bigger again the sectors can be put back in, but I think the clan right now is far to small, I mean look, the fighting Member list has 44 people on it...

I could of posted this in level 3, but I know for sure that all of the Community Leaders + Council were here when the old system was around.

I know what I have said is rough, it does need to be worked out, like will all the Community members get Emeritus? And a few other things.

All I want to know here is if:
A) You like the sectors
B) If you want to keep them why?
C) If you don't want to keep them why?
D) If we changed back to the old system would you like it more?

I completely agree with Buzz.
This clan is far more complicated and is trying to be much bigger than it needs to be. And it's going to kill us.

By Zlatan83 on 13/02/2008
The sectors are actually killing us since we don't have many people left in Fighting/Skilling.

I agree full to what you said, however I belive it's Lordys decision to change it back again, but im wondering If he even asked us if we wanted to change the first place.

Basically I agree with you, however, it is hard to go back to the way things were before.

In theory this is a great system, and when we were at full membership it was working well.
The thing we need to all remember is this. We are not individuals we are a clan.
That means we are stronger together than apart. We guard each others weak side.
Where others are weak we are supposed to be strong.
I honestly dont see how someone who only skills will help out in the fighting section very much.
I do not think we should have any members below our combat average, no matter what the skill level is.
I do not think we should carry the inactive members who havent been seen or heard from in months and months.

The sectors are not our problem here , its lack of respect. We are using the sector division as an excuse and becoming exclusionary and divided.
Wake up and smell the coffee people, before its too late.

I have tried to hold 3 anniversary events only one of which anyone bothered to attend.
Until Lordy decides differently the sectors are staying. The new forums were made with that in mind. People are using the sectors as a scapegoat to keep from having to attend cross boundary events.
Its time we pulled together, and not apart.

Yeah I agree, when we get larger, we can implement the sector idea again I guess.

People are using the sectors as a scapegoat to keep from having to attend cross boundary events.

So by removing the sectors they will no longer have that to say "I don't have to go..."

It maybe hard to see, but the sectors will kill WG when it's small, when WG is larger, the sectors are a great thing to have.

By Dorcha3377 on 16/02/2008
Think about the people that are in each sector, they are not going to want to do anything but what they are doing now. It is the people and thier narrow attitudes that are killing us, not the sectors.
