This... sucks...

For months I've been avoiding these e-mails on my college account called "Higher One Refund Checks." No kidding, for months. Then yesterday I randomly open one on a whim and find out that a refund check from LAST FEBRUARY hasn't been cashed (which I was positive I had cashed) and will expire in less than THREE DAYS (entirely non-refundable, of course). It's from a dropped class so it's in the ballpark of eleven hundred dollars. And I CAN'T FIND THE CHECK ANYWHERE.

Immediately after work I'm blitzing the SASC to find whoever sent me this e-mail.

They must have been forewarned because the entire building was deserted when I got there.

I'll catch them though they're not getting away with my eleven hundred bucks!

I found the check, I called in and evidently it's still good as long as I cash it tomorrow.
