TS for Ex Members

This is a simple question to see what the clan members think about ts rights to ex members. I know that council is the one to make decisions like this, so it is not meant to change any rules. But they can see our opinion on this issue.

Well the rules would state they are not allowed and if council would be in there with them they would be banned. Everyone probably except Lordy would be my guess. But I don't know that for sure.

In my opinion, No. It's not a free TS Server. It's paid for under wg.com for the priveleged use by WG's Members and their Allies.
Ex-Members despite who they are, are after all EX members. They could consist of members from other clans, meaning a risk to clan security/confidentiality.

that is a really great point about security. I mean we don't want spies.
I meant of course Lordy would be allowed but I wasn't sure if any other ex members were allowed.

We used to have an exeption list, like the leadership would see who is trustworthy enough to gain access to our IRC (teamspeak) , but judging by the look now , that would be biased in many ways.

i say no, WG TS is for the WG members, therefore it should really only be allowed for the members of WG. However, if you're wanting to speak to some Ex-members via TS, you can always get a free TS server or get a free Vent server, so you can talk to whicher ex-members you want to there. Just my view on it.. =o

What is there to spy on? Event times? What are they going to crash our clan wars?
All important stuff is discussed in the Council room. The worst that could happen is they could attend our events because they would find out times, but no one even talks about events on TS.

maybe something like that but allowing it to be a set number of council with members to support the person being allowed to use ts. Not sure how that would work but then council would have a check and balance for whom they dont like. But yet it should be involved in decision. Just an idea.
Maybe 2 council members and 8 supporting members.
Like I said before council makes these decisions. I just wanted to hear opinions on this.

I personally wouldnt mind, but when the new wilderness comes out, our security is going to go way up
