I will have my say.
Any editing of this post and my resignation will be handed in. I don't give a **** anymore.
Everyone knows I was doing these reqs and I told u theyd be handed in by tomorrow. This was my task, you said I could do it and I told you they were would be done in my one week holiday.
Then you go and make your own?
Wdf is that about....?
I love the way you do nothing that you're meant to be doing, but instead take your skills leaders job.
Real nice Steve, you're giving all of us great amounts of support...

I've been waiting since the day i got council for you to do this for me.
I'm fed up of having little shits like mathsnerd on my back saying im inactive.

I voted yes, but I think that some of them are just a bit slightly too high.
By Reticked on 14/02/2008
Yes, although I don't even have 1750 total myself, and only meet a couple reqs
By Indivi2you on 14/02/2008
I voted No.
There are a few reasons which I will explain now.
1) Let's say we get these new requirements. There are a number of people who do not meet these requirements first of all. So the clan would have to go through a whole new OPH for skills to train up.
2) I say these requirements are high. If we push these through... Well...
Look at the amount of intro's applicants we are getting right now, and well they barely meet the requirements too. If we push these through we will stop getting as many new members.
I think you are trying to get new requirements to show that WG are an elite skilling clan. Maybe not? I can be wrong. But these are just my thoughts.
If we are to raise the requirements, I would suggest to gradually bring them up.

Put it this way guys.
Do you want to be in a SKILLS sector. Or an EVENTS sector.
Because right now, it leans towards events above focusing on skilling.
By ArSeNaLfAn32 on 14/02/2008
Yes I agree.

The way i see it right now is...
Maybe there are events but like 5/45 people attend those events.
And for the 5 people. when they aren't attending events, they are skilling...

Yes hello.
I think those new reqs are good.
Wg needs to focus more on being a "higher class" skills sector, than what we are now.
Atm, nearly anybody can get into the skills sector.
Anyway, I like these ones.
The only thing I'm worried about is if we can pull the members.
By maxrobinsun on 16/02/2008
I voted No.
-I think that those reqs are too high honestly
-Also attending 2 events a week is difficult because of the limited number of available events.
By Anatcrafter on 16/02/2008
I think they're ok apart from the TS requirement. There's no way I can use it unless I shell out to upgrade my computer which does what it needs to do fine for the time being. I wouldn't have it as a requirement but maybe a recommendation.
By Mr Death 13 on 16/02/2008
No, we have a hard enough time getting more people to join the skill sector without making the reqs higher.
By George on 16/02/2008
Yeah I have to say I agree with Death.
We need to make the skill reqs more open and by this I mean add hunter, farming, con etc like I did in mine.
We just can't make them higher.
We have like 35 members in the skills sector, losing more each week.
How many of em are active?
Maybe we should concentrate on more events and more activity before we start with new reqs?
By Abmanju on 16/02/2008
Yes, I agree with these lovely requirements, they really look divine.
They look appealing to a high leveled clanless Skiller. It's just perfect, I finally meet the reqs lol.
They're fine, they're not too high, it doesn't take that much dedication to get that.
Thing is, for the Skills Sector to be appealing to members, we need the reqs to look like the real deal; 'This is a professional clan with mature members', that's what we need to show to the public, we need our Skills Sector flourish with members. There are many skillers, but they don't want to join a clan that has immaturity.
Let's see, I can get:
80 Crafting - 3-4 Weeks
80 Agility - Less than 2 Weeks
80 Thieving - Less than 2 weeks
80 Hunting - Less than 2 weeks
Even I can achieve that, and I'm 80% Combat based.

Ya, i think the new req. are good but i don't think we should use them yet. I think we should wait untill we get more active members. If we cahange req. now we'll get even less peaple joining.
By maxrobinsun on 16/02/2008
Abs please note i am i no way attacking you. But i think those are a bit generous, you would have to be playing a lot to level up that fast.
Also that is 4 skills out of 15, (Not including double ups or QPC)
I don't really think that just ramping up the reqs is the best idea.

Well, If I play Rs, it'll be 3-4 Hours on Weekdays and 6-8 Hours on weekends. I didn't say how long it would take myself personally to get to those levels, since I know it would take longer.
I know it's 4 out of 15 Skills, which means it's good. You only need one of them remember, more Skills mean we have a more variety of people joining, people who might like Farming will join etc. etc.
It's hard to explain, but it will offer a chance to every skiller.

Honestly, Abs' estimates for those lvls is good. i can get those within 2 weeks aswell.
By Me9alomaniac on 17/02/2008
I believe the new requirements would make the Skilling sector more exclusive. The good thing about having high reqs could also mean that members will have more to contribute in terms of tips/guides while enjoying the company of goal oriented peeps.
If this is what the Skills sector want to achieve, then I think it is appropriate.
By rachellove9 on 19/02/2008
The requirements look tough but I only need one lvl for it I have 99 cook and 89 fishing
Dont think you cant learn from the lower skills people some of us read alot lol
Because I'm lower I have to try harder and find ways around not having the higher combat lvls and all the gp that seems to go with it
I think a total lvl of 1500 if your going to keep the lower combat requirement is good If it was 1600 It would take me about a month or so to get there
It looks good

voted yes.
^^what abs said.
By Sygelig on 21/02/2008
If we need members, I don't get why we make the reqs higher. Not even with those, I can't be in the skills sector. My vote is no. I think we need to look at the current and lower it from there, or maybe just add on some more skills to it like con, farm, craft etc..
