93?

Something has been on my mind lately.
WG has a total of 93 members.

NINETY THREE.

Ok, so looking through event recaps...
Excluding wars, we've seriously failed to have an event with over ten people this summer.

There may be one or two, but out of what, 50+ events?

This is becoming a disgrace.
The members are so inactive it's scary.

Not only do they not go to events, they can't even post to say they can't.
The reason I bring this part up is because i'm holding an event Sunday that's been posted for 2 or 3 days and only has 20 sign ups.
20 is terrible of a clan that has 90 members.
You're telling me that 1 out of every 4.5 members in WG is able to post on the forums?
Honestly, 20 is a good thing compared to other events.

Can we do something?
The problem won't just go away.
Even if it means deleting half the memberlist, atleast we'll have a core group of members.

Well, like I say..inactivity has always been a problem for WG, and always will be.

You can have inactivity checks and mandatory event attendance, but WG will always be fairly inactive.

I hate seeing too many "sorry too early can't come" posts on event topics.
So I just don't post if I can't go.

Its great that they're making an event, I don't want to let them down by saying "omfg you made it too early".

Make them all a poll? That way... They can vote, "Yes, I'm coming." or "No, Sorry." or "Maybe, Not sure yet."

Good Idea Tabs, I bet more people would vote than post/sign up.

Colin is right you can't demand attendance. RS is a game and we all enjoy it. Everyone contributes to the clan what they can, but the aim is to have fun. IRL does come first. Be patient we have a great group, all of whom care.

It will work out, you just keep the events coming. Have fun and others will want to have fun too.
