38  X  MENS - IMPORT  - SURF TEE  , BLACK  @ $7.00 EACH = $266.00

38 X 2 COLOUR PLUS BASE FRONT PRINT @ $7.00 = $266.00

3 X  A3 FILMS @ $25 = $75.00

APPROX SET UP          = $30.00

SUBTOTAL = $637.00
GST = $63.70
TOTAL = $700.70

$18.44  PER SHIRT

$18.44 PER SHIRT AUD!!!
AND I GET HIT WITH A $700 BILL!
And the design doesn't look that good on it.

Ok let me go through some quick maths...
If I reduce the shirt down to one colour, meaning no grey...

38 X MENS - IMPORT - SURF TEE , BLACK @ $7.00 EACH = $266.00
38 X 1 COLOUR FRONT PRINT @ $5.00 = $190.00
1 X A3 FILMS @ $25 = $25.00
APPROX SET UP = $30.00

SUBTOTAL = $511.00
GST = $51.10
TOTAL = $562.10

PER SHIRT: $14.80

Thus saving me $138.60

______________

Ok the summary:
Your choice is this. Take each shirt for about $16 USD with the grey.
OR I remove the grey and make it all white. Then one shirt is about $12 USD
Then you still have to add postage on top of that. That was problem one.

The second problem is that it looks a little ugly. I will be paying $5 extra to make the lines go further out to the edges, by ordering a bigger film to print. That's no big deal.

PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU PREFER IT WITH GREY, PAYING MORE, OR JUST PLAIN WHITE! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE TO SEE THE VISUAL.

I'd prefer it with the gray, all-white looks like it'd make the "WG" less distinct.

Don't blame us.
Blame the people who misquoted you the cost per shirt...

White is fine with me.
I still get mah discount rightttt?

Come on some comments.
Don't sit on your asses.
I need to know what decision to make.

I like that gray, got too many white shirts tbh. hash.png

By Eregion2 on 28/08/2008
There were 38 orders? Wow, more than I thought.

By Winddancir on 28/08/2008
Adding in the grey is 2 more A3 FILMS? (Like I have any idea what I'm talking about). Plain white though, the WG wouldn't stand out as well. If you were to do plain white... You'd almost have to alter it to have a black border around the WG. Meaning spots just without color. Not adding black.

By Valdremia on 28/08/2008
Grey looks better and "WG" stands out. What Wind pointed out make sense. But I see that you have used a Pantone Grey, which pantone itself is a special colour. Not sure about T-shirt printing but I think it should work in the same principle as offset printing on paper or newsprints. Possibly that's why it has a 2 film base.

Maybe try considering going for gradient black, possible? That means a decreased % of black but its surely one colour, not a special colour. Meet halfway or something. Although, pantone colours are actually more subtle and smooth but at least if its possible, it seemed better than leaving it all white, possibly the least ideal if you do have options. Hope this help for some thoughts if considered.

ill pay more for the gray tbh

By Havochaha on 28/08/2008
plain white if its cheaper

By His Lordship on 29/08/2008
I'm getting mixed responses and not enough of them.
Come on guys I'm going out of my way to make these and all you have to do is post.

By Karlfischer on 29/08/2008
If we are going to do this we should do it right. I think that most of us would rather pay more for the shirt to look better.

If the initial cost is a burden for you Eugene, that is another matter, but instead of changing the design I would rather you reduce the order size a little and then order more if there is increased demand.

By Palidore on 29/08/2008
Ok, so to clarify here, to keep it the same as it was would be $16, USD correct? And that's also without shipping which would be an extra $10 or so?

Regardless, I'll still pay the extra $6 if that is what's required.

By Tezza Rulz12 on 29/08/2008
4 bucks extra should be okay. As long as postage isnt too much.

The thing you should be worrying about is if people arent able to pay or change their minds about ordering one.

T Shirt- $15
Being seen with a runescape clan's Tshirt- negative $50
Being seen with A cool runescape tshirt that has a hash, and your clan's symbols on it- Priceless

extra money=worth it

By Pyroclastic0 on 29/08/2008
the grey just looks so much better, it's worth the extra.

By NightRawrs on 29/08/2008
I like the white, prefer it to the grey.

By Jordon106 on 02/09/2008
I like either way, if its grey ill pay the extra.

By HavocAngel on 02/09/2008
I hate plain white.

I'd always pay extra for better.
