Council Approval Needed

Well Joe came to me a month ago with an idea.

And so I started production.

INTRODUCING THE WAR BADGES@

Based on the old raid badges, I took them and made them into war badges.

So I give you The War Badges:

Stolen the backgrounds from the Raid Badges, Erased the text, cloned the background and re-added the text.

They took a while.

Special thanks to Wind for sorting out the animation of the 200 war- veteran badge, I mucked it up a little, it wasn't timed correctly, Thanks Tabs

Note: I will be updating the wars myself, it will not be a burden on any other staff member/wg member unless they want to help out voluntarily

Please do NOT leak any of these badges, yet...

If this is approved I will post them all up and handle all the advertising () of them

How do you know how many wars you've attended though?

I approve, it helps motivate members to attend wars and train for them.
Also, we need a new attendance list for wars? Is that what you meant by updating?

Normally I don't approve of badges because I don't think its good enough as a reward, but this feels different for some reason. I give it my full support.

The badges are being re-done, the war amounts are way too many, no1 will reach 200 wars.... thats like at least a year and a half of attending 2-3 wars a week.

So the new amounts:

Novice - 2
Squire - 5
Warrior - 8
Knight - 12
Cavalier - 18
Hero - 25
Champion - 35
Paladin - 46
Veteran - 60

Also I am sizing them down to 158 px by 20 px high, so that Robbie can put them into the side bar, (like the attendance thing)

So, after talking it over with Gorge, we have decided to go one step further with this:
I will be adding an extra column to the database, and it will show up on the attendance list next to "total events attended". http://www.wildernessguardians.com/attendance/list.php
I will be creating a second attendance-edit page, identical to the first, however instead of being able to update events, it will be able to update wars.
More stuff coming later, this is more of a note to myself.

I am in the process of re-sizing and re-texting the badges so that they can fit on the profile card to the left of each post and so that the text looks clearer and less blurred.

If you're resizing, I'll have to redo the animation on that one, or it will look like shit.

They look awesome so far, keep up the good work guys, these are an excellent idea.

How will people know how many wars they have attended..?

There will be a list like the attendance list , a separate column next to the amount of events attended, telling the member how many wars they and every other WG member has attended.

Ah yes of course lol.

This is where you can edit people's attendance for wars - It is just like the one for events.

Banner wise, look at Gorgemaster - thats what they will/do look like when you have them.

So, after talking/working with Gorge, it seems that I am going to have to ask you, wind, to make & fix the last image.

Hey, do you think you could make the last image? Gorge tried, and did well, but he couldn't fix the blurred text(compare the ones in the first post to the smaller ones Gorge did) on this one - Do you think you could resize & re-text this image? Also, if possible, can you make it 158X20px? It would make things simpler.
