USE THE FRIKIN' CALENDAR!

YOU ALL FAIL! FAIL FAIL FAIL!

Agreed, the calendar should be used more.
After all it is the Event Coord/Raid Leaders/Event Arrangers job to put the event into the Calendar as well.

Just added the current posted events, hopefully people will start using it more.

Change mine to 'Last day for signups' please, as there is no single event where everyone must attend, duels will be spread across a 3 day period, which is repeatedly for later rounds.
Btw. it's D A N L T N.
L before T newb.

Yeah I noticed this when I was first given Trial Guardian. Sometimes it can be extremely helpful to look at all of the events at the same time to get a basis of when they are.

Only reason I never used the calander is 'cause Guests can view it =\ I suppose would work fine though so long as BH trips aren't posted on them/pvp world trips (when they come out).

They can, but they would only get a date if the way it is posted on the calender is the way Dale has been doing it. He tells you what the event is, but all of the info is inside of the post, which he links you to. If they want to see the info which includes the world and the time, then they must become a member.

Is there a setting somewhere that restricts which forum masks can view the calendar? I think there is but I'm n/s.

I agree about the calendar but last time I asked was when I was new. I was told it was just something the forum came with but we didn't use.
I think it would really be helpful to new members til they get used to forums.

If you only put the name of the event, and say details inside the link... And the link is to a Guardian+ area... Then details are safe. Just the name is out.

I'm pretty sure there is a way, my old clan somehow managed to prevent Clan Friends and guests from viewing their calender.

The reason I stopped using the calendar was essentially because it lost purpose.
On z6 forums we used to have a display at the bottom saying "Upcoming events", which linked directly from the calendar, however on these forums it's not possible.
IF people start looking at the calendar I will start using it again.

Three events for today weren't on the calendar. Yesterday's war with MoD isn't there either, and neither is the weekly ToG event, plus a ton of others in event recaps.

Ok cut some slack and give some. Maintainance takes more than expected. Nice post of reminder though. Calendar's already looking better

Danke.
