Lol
By His Lordship on 10/09/2008
No particles have collided yet.
I'm rather skeptical.
I don't like the idea of man playing God.
Something could go wrong.
I'm sure they've taken safety precautions though.
Either way, it doesn't matter to me.
I'd like to live, but if I die, I hope its fast.
By Gusmighster on 10/09/2008
I don't really care/almost want to die if we all died together.
By NightRawrs on 10/09/2008
Oooh, it's all starting on the 21st of october?

Well the colliding.

Yeah colliding is not starting for 30 days then we might all be dead lol
By Pyro Blade26 on 10/09/2008
yea, 6 to 8 weeks until they collide. I guess UPS is delivering them to each other Lmfao. so yea it doesnt honestly matter if we live or die, it'll disprove or prove heaven and hell lol.

Can they speed this death thing up? Please?

If something does go cataclysmically wrong I'd like to happen slow enough so you could actually see it happening, not like instant-omg-I'm-obliterated-damn. I mean, it'd be a once-in-an-infinity event, literally.
By Pyroclastic0 on 10/09/2008
This all occurs naturally anyway out in space so there's nothing to worry about. Also they can only get out as much energy as they put in so no one is going to die of this since they would need much more energy put in.

Any reports of world changing events scheduled for around the winter of 2012 yet? Or is GOD just supposed to open the clouds and zap us? LUL.

No worries, we aren't playing god.
God doesn't exist.

You, sir, are ruthless.

Highfive.
Really though we aren't playing God, we are just doing what your God allowed us to do. We created technology, so now we are using it. If it happens to disprove God, then yay! One more thing we don't have to worry about.

What Gene said. I have so much to discuss about this topic. I think I spent a whole period talking to my Science teacher about it.
The first collision is scheduled next month, so that's the date to be worried. Chances are very small of things going wrong (I think a small fraction of 1%), but you can never be too sure.

But Jrm, there are people that are given a <1% chance to live..with certain medical conditions...and live for 20 more years.
Back in 1970, my nan was told that she had MS and that she would be in a wheel chair, completely immobile, and would have to rely on other people, within 5 years. 38 years later, and she is sat in front of me, on the train, can still do everythigng for herself.
The percentages of that..are stupidly low.
If we die, meh, ill die happy. Im beating Gene in the KC race.
By Jrm 04 on 12/09/2008
Hehe yea, I know that, I'm aware of how low possibilities are if they are <1%.
Oh well, did someone say 2012? Free cookie for all that live to 2013, I'm a bit concerned to be honest
By Eregion2 on 12/09/2008
Another theory is Armageddon will take place five generations after the reinstatement of Israel.

1% is still a chance of it going wrong, however if it doesn't go wrong, science will come up with new things to test and i think it will be science that will eventually kill us, when that will happen? Nobody knows but i think science will end up killing us.
By Mochacho456 on 12/09/2008
1% of something really bad, aka world destruction happening?
Hell no, they would never approve the project.
Its something closer to: 0.000000000000000000000000000001%
Thats 29 zeros son.
