Dire situation.

Right well, second topic in 10 days about this.
Those who were doing it then are still doing it now.
Why the FUCK are you still deleting members?
This is one thing you can't blame on anyone below Council, since it can only be done through ACP.....
It is killing the forums, you go into any forum you see 10-15 topics from April....
I'm getting tired of it.

You may want to find out the Facts first,
I'm 99% sure it isn't any Council Member nor Robbie/His Lordship.
My Opinion/View is
I think its the forums itself doing it which I think Tmal34 put in place when he was Council, i cannot be 100% Sure of this though.
And Rather this mini rant you have going on, wouldnt it make more sense to ASK the Council or maybe PM our Expirenced Forum tech Robbie or even Gene?

Yeah George....
Very convinient to blame us isnt it? even though in my time as council I havent deleted a single member, and I am willing to bet in the last month no council member has deleted a single account.
The actual only time we have "Mass Deleted" accounts was when Tmal was council, he deleted several hundred accounts that hadn't posted in a significant amount of time. I would be surprised if more than 1 or 2 accounts had been deleted since then.

Are we 100% sure its because of deleting accs? It might be something else.

I think you'll find it's when Tmal deleted all those accounts, and their still popping up now.

George why do you assune we havent done anything?
I talked to Robbie about this MONTHS ago, when they first started getting bumped and we could find no reason for it other than that the accounts had been deleted by Tmal.
Don't assume that there is a 'click your fingers and it's fixed solution' because guess what, if there was I would have done that a very long time ago. At this stage I do not want to go through and move every topic started by a now deleted account to an archive forum, but that may be what has to happen if it doesnt stop.

Calm down a bit George, it's nothing to do with current Council I'm sure.
I hope I can permit myself to leaking a bit of Level 4 here.
A few days ago, or a week, I asked Robbie about this and he said his best guess was that it was due to deleting accounts, as you can see, I made a topic on Level 4 asking not to delete topics if Council was, which I HIGHLY doubt it:

Now, first off, I have *never* run across this before, and have no idea what is causing it.

No admin logs on it, nor mod logs. I checked the database even. The "last post" value was indeed changed to a very recent date, but every thing else doesn't appear to be changed. I *think* this is what happens when it gets bumped.
I removed *everyones* bump ability, all but root admin, and am hoping that will fix it.
Note that no accounts have been deleted in over a week, and this topic's bump date was in the last day.
If this doesn't work.... I have no clue.

Okay, I was trying to see if there was any clue to this. I checked to see if any one had bumped the topic... But the last poster was the one who made the last post... Usually in a bump, the forum lists that person as the last to post even if they didn't do anything. (I've noticed that from when I get annoyed with oversized sigs/avvies, and have bumped the rules on it.)
So I've been watching the topics that show up... And there's no clue as to why this is happening... =(
