WG Sniper Unit

Welcome to the WG Sniper Unit!

Following feedback from WG members at a TS Meeting, we're setting up an official list of WG snipers. This list will be based here, on this topic.


Requirements

The requirements to be a sniper on this official list are simple:

I. You must be 120+ F2P Combat (MINIMUM (Note: At wars, you stand a stronger chance of being selected as a sniper if you are of a higher combat level. Shallow? Maybe, but the snipers need to be the elitest of the elite.))

II. You must have experience in sniping. Whether that is from a WG Training Session where you have trained to be a sniper, or whether that is from a previous WG war where you have sniped well. This includes P2P Wars.

III. You must be a Guardian+ - Why? Well because I personally don't want some randomer joining, getting put on this list (and being able to see it), and then leaking the whole list of WG's snipers. Note: We reserve the right to disregard this third requirement in special circumstances.

IV. You MUST be able to TANK! As a sniper, you will be a prime choice to be piled. As a result, you must NOT be KO'ed. This includes P2P Wars.


How to Apply

If you meet these requirements, you are eligible to apply to have yourself put on this list, however, for all applications, a Raid Leader/Council will have to verify you can Snipe, and edit your name into the list (They will not reply on this topic for acceptances. Only for discussion about applications or declines, though hopefully they will not happen often ) You may wonder why I'm being so tight with all of this accepting business... Well, to be quite honest, I'd rather be safe in the knowledge that our snipers can do a very good job, rather than worry about a sniper's capability. Surely that's understandable?

idk about the level req's......I was a pwnage sniper when I was active and pretty much dominated the hybrids. Seriously, if they are smart about how they snipe and do it well, I would let them go for it...

Like I know how to snipe and stuff, but at the same time WG might benfit more from me hyrbiding...

A great idea, if people are competant. For P2P more so than F2P though.

It's a nice idea, but I do have one small concern, what if we have a war and only 1-2 (or none) in the sniper unit show up?
Oh and what about the australian wars? We also need snipers active in that timezone.

I disagree with 120+ combat. Defence should be a requirement, not combat. With say 95+ def you could tank longer than a level 120 with like 90 def. If you get what I'm trying to say.

Groedius + Joe Validated, I've seen you both in action and know you are excellent snipers. Karel I don't think I've seen you, so see if you could find another staff member who has to validate you

Mickey and Starz, as you both pointed out you're relatively low on Spining experience, so next matched opts war you're at, I'll give you a shot.

I know that I cannot snipe but since some of you are applying please consider getting your stats as high as you can go for the benefit of the clan. Yes, that means you Joe.

Due to losing several of our main snipers, we're looking for replacement snipers. If you meet the requirements and believe you're up to it, sign up.
