Introduction
My guide on some basic Tips + Tricks I have picked up on, on the years I have been warring, hopefully you will read below some things that you didn't know and will remember for the rest of your clan life.

Tanking
Most of you will know how to tank, there are many ways in which you can tank clans. Some of these ways are Hugging, Dragging and Blocking. Hugging is where you use a wall or rock on runescape to force people to remain behind the object as you run off, why do we do this? We do this so you can have a small amount of time where you are not being piled and using up food. Dragging is where you run your heart out as far as you can away from the people attacking you. Why do we do this? So you waste the oppersite clan's energy and sometimes the clan will get off you. Blocking is simular to Hugging however you keep circling a certian object within the RuneScape background E.G. a rock. Why do we do this? Well this method is for the less confident tankers and stops all of the clan attacking you at the same time. Now for avoiding having to tank, the best tankers oftenly don't get attacked at all as they know how not to get piled, a few tips about not getting piled is to stay falled in at all times and attack the person the main pile are attacking, also have your pray on ready and staff wielded when you think you might be in risk of getting attacked as this oftenly deters clans.

Binding
Binding is essential for a clan, everyone knows it but not the extent of how important it is for a minimum of 30% of people binding is. The problem with Binding is that you are oftenly seeked out by the opposing clan and killed quicker as you have less food, also you tend to attract snipers alot more, so well a TRICK I picked up is if you wear this:

You can still get binds in while fending off snipers and switching to rune quicker. Anouther tip with binding is if you use a rune scimmy your binds are much faster!! (Did you know that!?) The last tip for binding is if you are one of the only binders it is much more helpful to a clan if you weild a staff and bind with that as it speeds up binds and makes them unmissable almost
.

Invent layout
This is a quick Tip section really and simple yet effective. If you have a well organised invent then you are more likely not to click on a piece of armour/Potion/Runes. The reacomended Inv is showed below:

(red dot means first click, blues mean second, third, forth, ect.

Quests
There are two quests which you really need to complete as it makes warring a hell of alot easyer and those quests are; As A First Resort and Anouther Slice of H.A.M. So why do them quests? Well from As A First Resort you get a salt-water pool which gives you unlimited run for 20 minutes which is a huge advantage. Secondly is Anouther Slice of H.A.M, you should do this quest as you get an Ancient Mace, which with the spec gives you +X (X is the number you hit with the spec) and I beleive the max spec is about 21 which would make someone with 99 prayer be 120 pray.

Items
Some items on RuneScape make warring so much easyer and they are; Team Capes, Lumbridge acheivement diary hash.png3 ring, Staffs, Str potions and FoG gear. So why take them? Team capes; all of the top hash.png5 clans on RAW make sure they all wear team capes and this is so they don't click on other clan mates and you can one click on the oppersite clan no matter your or their combat level. Ring; This ring owns, no reason why every person in the clan shouldn't have one, they take less than 2 hours to get and have awesome bonuses such as +1 pray and +1 magic, the best of all is the energy replacer which you can replace your energy by 50% 3 times each day. Staffs; These help with binding as the added mage bonus and also increase your defence bonus. Str potion; Pretty simple item which people oftenly don't take which is really helpful. FoG gear; This includes Berserker shield which is added defence + Str bonus - Guantlets are added defence + str bonus and the full green mage armour (drudic robes) are high in mage bonus and have a bonus of quicker and more effective binds.

Personal
Know your own limets and get comfertable and cofident when in a war, Make sure your chat is off if your easily destracted with chat to friends if you find it easyer. When tanking if you feel you can take off 15% defence prayer and leave melee on do it. Know when to switch to a dragon hide top when running away from magers, Know when your getting piled make sure your aware. Spam... Spamm upppppp as much as you can to help the rest of the clan find the piles. Be calm, the calmer you are the easyer it is to switch to prayer and invent then clicking on food is easyer. Never panic its not the end of the world if you die, Make sure your on TS being on TS helps alot.

Nice Guide.

Nice guide, but you should more information, such as sniping and anti sniping, best ways to get fast and efficient ancient mace specs (I believe the best atm is to go to a BH only world, get a spec on the zombies in the nearby graveyard. If you're not satisified then you could go in and out of BH to get your spec bar full again) and how to survive from a ko and recovery from an almost-ko.

Other than that, nice job smile.gif
