Overlord: Raising hell.

By Ansatsublade on 26/09/2008
Hi all

I first heard about Overlord: Raising hell when there they advertised it in the OPM.

And at first I was, meh. But then I say it was made by Codemasters™. So it got me interested, Then I downloaded the ''Free demo'' on PS3. Well now I like it so much I got to have it (bit pricy though, but ive been saving up for something like this) So today I'm going to get it.

A BIT MORE ABOUT OVERLORD: Raising hell.

*********************

Taking control of a mysterious figure that has inherited the legacy of the long-dead evil Overlord, the player emerges near death from the ruins of the old Overlord's Dark Tower. Only the player's actions will determine if they will rise to become the new all-powerful Overlord; it's all up to how bad they want to be in order to succeed ... evil or really evil! With a dark sense of humor, the game immerses players in twisted parodies of classic fantasy stories and characters. In a unique twist, players will have control over an army of an army of Minions that will use their unique skills to fetch, fight and die for their new Overlord. Throughout the game players will actively control a horde of these gremlin-like creatures that will follow every bidding no matter how whimsical or life threatening it may be.

He looks EVIL... LOL

So I was wondering, anyone here that has it?

***I don't care if it's on the 360 or PS3***

Maybe we can swap idea's, play some online games. talk about this and that.
Beat the 360 over the fact that PS3 version has exclusive content, ect...

Blue Minion (Healer like type, can walk on water, but suck at combat)
Brown minion (Main fighter type)
Red Minion (Fire based rangers, can absorb fire)
Green Minion (These are the stealthy backstabbers, good for to use in an ambush)

They look funny lol.

Hope to hear from you all.

Way's to play Overlord.

The Goody-good-good-way. (Boring)

Well here, you complete the game without killing ANY friendly's.
This is kinda boring, all you get to do is help little stupid people, give em food, help out elves, and just be damn nice all the time...
Ok I must admit, its good to play it like this the first time, you end up with some cool 'non-corrupted' magic, and a clean pretty 'Dark tower'. but thats it. People like you and that's it. Oh well...

Now, the way you should play it! 100% corrupted!!

The OMG-how-nasty-evil-can-you-get-way (LOLOL So much fun lol)

Oh yeah, more like it.
This way, you get to do al the things an evil ruler should do, smite farmers, destroy the elves, steal-kill all you can, and obtain some AWSOME magic skills that will kill almost anything that walks on this planet, kidnap you some servants and be a jerk allround.

Compared to the good way, the game is more fun like this, you look evil, people fear you, and you get to play a good looking badass asshole... If only we could do that in real life tongue.gif
Here are some more screenshots.
