A bit about myself.

By Samurai-JM on 30/09/2008
I have been sitting on these forums making sigs and such for going on 4 years now, and I think I like it here. I've been outside the circles of drama and activity since my retirement a while back, and it's awesome. I get to sit by and watch everybody else fight amongst themselves and destroy everything they seek to build, and it's hilarious, no offense. I just wish some more people would take this stance, look at everything from the outside in, and look at what's really going on in order to fix the problems of a broken society.

This is generally how I live my life, sitting back and watching everything crumble all around me without a care in the world. I'm currently going to Penn State to get a degree so I can get a career and live comfortably, but outside of that I really have no plans or wants of any kind. It seems to me that nothing really matters in this world, as it will all come to an abrupt end at some point. I do enjoy enjoying myself though, if that makes any sense, and I try to have as much fun as I can, for I feel that is the only thing that really matters in life. If you don't enjoy it, then what's the point?

Anyway, I'm only posting this because I'm waiting for my class and I'm bored. Yes, this is what I do when I'm bored, post random stuff about life and all that. But back to the bit about the world crumbling. As most of you know, the American economy is dying right now. My dad is seriously considering moving us out of the country to nowhere other than Australia, HI LORDY, and I'm beginning to wonder just how paranoid he is about the whole thing. But it isn't just him, it's almost everyone. Loads of people who I talk to all seem completely over-dramatic about our global situation, and no one is willing to just sit down and look around and see that everything is fine. You look on the news and they tell you all about the bad stuff that's going on, and you start to worry about how it will affect you. I, meanwhile, am just sitting here living life and enjoying it, regardless of how scared the rest of the population is, and I'm loving it. I guess what I'm trying to say is this: don't panic, and no matter what happens, try to enjoy it, or it will all be for naught.

Hmmm 10 minutes until class. Bai.

(If every person in the world thinks ahead, the global mentality moves forward.)

WOW We are total opposites yet again. lol

How can you live so close to me and be like sooo far out there.

If that is what keeps you happy, I hope you enjoy a sidelines life. Good Luck. Keep watching the Steelers and enjoy viewing people.

Aye, tis usually a good way to live. It is much better viewing drama from the sidelines than being in it.

That would be good in some ways, but usually when people worry its for a reason. Banks are going bust, people are worried that if they don't withdraw it soon, it'll all be used up to repay national debt. It is serious, because we haven't had anything like this for over 60 years. Its important to be aware and think of your feet - but not necessarily to worry, but not forget about it and wait until its too late.

^Believe me when I say I'm aware. smile.gif More than most in fact.
