Summoning Charm

By Eechye 124 on 22/02/2008
Since summoning came out, It has been a great hit ( Or not to some People )

It is consider 1 of the most time consuming skill, Next to slayer where you have to run around and collect charm

I would like to know which monster do you hunt for certain charm like me for example

Gold Charm - Infernal Mages
Crimson Charm - Nechryeal/Greater Demons
Blue Charms - Gargoyles/Kalphite Soldier
Green Charm - Bloodveld
All Color Charm - King Black Dragon

By Anatcrafter on 22/02/2008
I don't hunt for charms, I just get them on slayer tasks. Although those ones are probably the ones that give me the best amounts. Hellhounds are good for golds also.

By Karel Dude on 22/02/2008
I just pick up loads of charms, idk what to do with them tbh

By Sygelig on 22/02/2008
I've had great experience getting Crimson at Dust Devils.. I think you might wanna try that out.. I get like 40 every trip (one trip for me is like 35-45 minutes) And you get good combat experience.

Ice warriors/Ice Giants/ Fire Giants for Gold

Basically all dragons for Green

Waterfiends for crimson, they drop like 95% of the time or so.. Bring hides and a crush weapon + guthans and you can stay there for like 150+ crimsons a trip lol.. I got bored tho sad.gif

Well, ice warriors and fire giants for gold.
And the rest pretty much i just kill monsters.
While i green dragon hunt, i get a decent amounts of blues, greens, and crimsons.

but then again, i stopped focusing on summon after 35.

Ogres are good if u need Gold Charms

By Eregion2 on 22/02/2008
I had a 89 fire giant task a few days ago and got 72 charms out of it. I forget if they were mostly greens or golds though. sad.gif I also paid a visit to the giant rock crabs today; they drop shards 10 at a time but they have outrageous defense so killing them takes ages.

By maxrobinsun on 01/03/2008
^ Use Verac or Mage them tbh.

And i sorta just accumulated them, i hear dusties are good.

Q: How do you use charms?

[Haven't played in a long time and I'll be members soon so it'd be nice to know before I screw something up somehow xP]

By Mager123789 on 11/11/2008
Do the 'Wolf Whistle' Quest.
It explains everything you need to know about summoning happy.gif

By joowdemannen on 12/01/2009
Jelly's :: Green.
Moss Giants, Ice Giants, Ice Warriors :: Gold. (Chaos tunnels = AFK training)

All other charms i get from Slayer. :°)

By Narita on 12/01/2009
dark beasts/abber specs for blue
enchs/waters for crim

By God Reports on 18/01/2009
Black Demons has proved to be good Crimson droppers for me. Dust Devils and Waterfiends are also really good.

Blue Charms are dropped alot at the Armoured Zombies under the Chaos Temple are good. You must of done Defender of Varrock, the zombies are really good exp for 99 combat goals as well.

By Mmangler on 18/01/2009
If you are like me and do not like summoning, you might consider doing slayer for the charms. It will allow you to do two skills at one and if yo bury the bones you could be working on another time consuming skill--prayer.

By Narita on 21/01/2009
abby demons actually drop half decent crims, 198 abbys = 79 crims. no whips though=(
