Hey guys, Just like to quickly mention something to you all, which I think has become infinately more important since the release of the PvP worlds.
Out current turnouts to Raids are roughly 10 - 15 people. In the current clan world, where clans of 40, 50, 60, and even more are actively PKing, this is really not enough to 'Guard the Wilderness'. I do therefore request that if you have any friends, or if you come accross a random person while on PvP worlds, or on your travels on normal worlds, who are clanless, please, tell them about WG, invite them to join. Help them reach the Site by telling them to search for us in a search engine. Every member really does help.
My goal, were I to have become council, would have been to step up recruitment, not to a level of 'mass recruitment' which usually leads to a slump, but instead of active recruitment, wherein we're aware we need more people, and are working hard to make ourselves known, but not simply opening the gates and let any simple person flood in.
I'd really like our Raiding aspect of things to greatly improve obviously, but this is not a purely selfish thing for those who like Raiding. If there's more people in WG, the community becomes grander and more diverse. There are more interesting people to chat with, and get to know. Our council is fully capable of managing much more people than there currently are, so it won't be a problem.
We really do, IMO need Quantity to our Raids as well as Quality.
Please, Invite your friends, remember the state of active recruitment we need to be in.
Special mention goes to Jesseh who already seems to have taken it upon herself to get two or three people to Intro for us

Most of my friends... Are more skillers or don't meet the lvl 100 f2p or are already in another clan. The few who were interested... Either quit when the wildy was gone or won't go on IRC.

Another possibility guys, if you knew people who left RS/Went inactive at the removal of the Wilderness, tell them about PvP worlds and see if you can arouse their interest again. If you can, get them to rejoin

I recruit my two maxed friends, one of them got flamed.. But we'll see, he might stay, and the other is in the process. 
I try, but i only have Wg added on my friends list. And all my other friends are from Wg's offspring clans.. I'm sad.

I don't have friends. The people on my list are either WG, or friends in another clan.

My friend's list is full and mostly 100+ too but mostly skillers. Not many have raid experience. I add and delete friends pretty often and I'm careful who I invite to WG. I think my idea for recruitment contest was a good one.
