Not bad. More than half is quite good for our standards.

By Dorcha3377 on 23/02/2008
I was there if it matters.

By Tnuac on 23/02/2008
Still pretty good, 100 wild opts.

Sorry i wasn't there, but family came round at an inconvenient time for it.

What was the result?

By Sygelig on 23/02/2008
I think we did great if we keep in mind that we've got trouble pulling opts at events. I think we did great even it was a loss. Good job guys. I'm a proud Guardian

Actually, it's more like 35/150 members..seeing as how we allowed members from all sectors to come..

And Tuna, we lost unfortunatly..they are a much more active warring clan, and they generally outclassed us..

Ronin starting:44
WG starting:32

Ronin ending:32
WG ending:0

Maybe if we have like 5 weeks prep instead of 2 we may get the whole sign-up list coming.
I think those who signed up as definate should be questioned on why they didn't attend....
If you sign up as a definate, you attend...
Who cares if we lost, we fought well, we knew we were outnumbered, by 11 people, yet we met them in battle nonetheless and had a good fight wub.gif

Well done everyone, all the same..

By Colinwarrior on 24/02/2008
Wow, I just watched one of the videos put out by a ronin member..half of our members didn't even put on pray when they got piled!! It made me die a little inside!! That is just a disgrace..

Maybe if we trained our tactics, we'd had a greater chance. Or maybe only declared 10v10.. In my old clan, we wen't out to train our combat tactics every now and then. Taught people when to switch on prayers and hug proberly. When to eat, run, attack etc.. Maybe we could do it all over in WG?

Yeah, we used to do stuff like that back in the day, hence why we were good back in the day. Haven't seen those kind of events in a quite a while..

I'm sorry, I did bad, people didnt seem to hear me on TS. Still, quite a good attendance for our current standards

Constantly, I hear we have more skilled members when we're outnumbered or outleveled, but after watching the vid I dont know if the statement still holds true sleep.gif

Personally, that was one of my worst fights ever. I don't know what happened there but I'll let this pass and regain myself or not improve the next time.

The world was worse than laggy. You guys were already in the portal and I lagged so bad I was thrown out by the lava gap. The screen would freeze up then when it would get back to normal, no one was there. I wasn't even able to tell I was being called let alone being piled until I was gone. I dont know why in the world there are only certain worlds for clan wars.

Is attendance the only thing raid leaders posts nowadays?
Is that all that matters?
Where's a recap on how *cough* good *cough* we did?

im guessing its lack of experiance in the newer members and also that we have been kind of pk inactive so we forgot our normal skills and such...just a guess i wasnt there.

No, you're exactly right.

There were several newer members there that KOed because they didn't put on prayer.
And generally, everyone was not at the top of their game. We haven't had many real wars or raids in a while.

By Tnuac on 24/02/2008
Its no good sending a 1000 people to war if all they have to fight with is an ear of corn as a weapon. There are (well, as long as they were transfered to this forum) many guides on how to survive in a war. Of course, you need to put it into practice as well. It seems that a vast majority had neither information or practice, which is a recipe for disastor against a warring clan.

This war forum has some specialised guides for those who are advanced at warring, but has no basic guidelines, and obviously the basics of war were missed by many people. Regardless of whether they're in the fighting, skilling, or community sector, if you're putting people to war they need to know how to fight. Its like the american soldiers in Iraq. They're risking their lives, and yet they're not being supplied what they need, which is a mockery of their bravery and hard work.

What's more, there's no recap, consolment, or advice for the future. Losing a war can be a valuable experience, but only if you utilise every error, expose it, and make the corrections to ensure it can't and won't happen again. War recaps are invaluable. Without them, there's no improvement.
