The Clan Quest

This is last year's topic, and last year's movie. The topic is updated for this year, but if you are wondering why the date is 2008... well I couldn't make a new topic, since the button at the end of the movie links to this topic.

All the information you will need for now is on this topic.

The Game

His Lordship will be hiding somewhere in Runescape and it is your job to find him.
The moment the clan quest starts, two topics will be put into the starting forum.
The first is the master riddle. A very tough riddle that will lead you to the location when it's cracked. The second is a normal clue which is much easier than the master riddle. The normal clue, when answered, will give you the password to the Part II forum... and in Part II you get another clue that leads to Part III and so on until you get to the location in Part V.
You also have the option of blindly hunting for His Lordship, or even following other people.


The Prizes

1st Place Team or person gets a choice of two of the following:

1. "The Guardian Power" with new lyrics involving you and your team mates.
2. 10 Emoticons of your choice to be put on the clan forums
3. 24 hours as an OP in #wg_lobby and #wg (with power abusing rights)
4. An IRL souvenir from His Lordship (not a shirt)
5. His Lordship as your RS slave for one hour
6. Each winner gets a custom signature made by His Lordship (made in His Lordship's Flash animation style)

2nd place gets a choice of ONE of the above options that was not taken by 1st place
From there, the groups get money rewards that diminish over time.

Items required will not be told.
Part of the quest is getting these items yourself.
All that is guaranteed is co-ordinate finding items.

The week has changed. Four days prep is not enough to hype something this amazing in the clan's calendar. It is the event of the year. We will outpull war attendance.


The Rules

- You can choose to do this quest in groups.
- The maximum group size is 4.
- Doing it in groups is more fun, and has more pros than cons
- We will be switching to a PVP world after we mass.
- Teams ARE allowed to PK each other while searching for me.
- You cannot log out during the quest. I will assume you have switched to a safe world privately.
- Once you log for more than 30 seconds you are out.
- Use tactics.
- Lie to other teams, mislead them, PK each other... you are racing.
- Play dirty to a small extent.
- The more quest you've done, the better your chances

To join a team, make a topic in this forum, with your team name as your topic title.
Keep up to four spots open, or less if you prefer a team of 2 or 3. You are allowed to set requirements. If you are going solo, make a topic saying so. Once your team is full, I will record it below. So that I know your team is complete, put the prefix [Full] in your topic title. Recruit ASAP. You don't have very long.

Oh man, that actualy looks like fun...

I love hide & seeks games with tha riddle/puzzle stuff in it... But I can't make it sunday. The main reason for me is that it starts a bit late (I need to get up at 6.30h to get to work so I try to avoid late night gaming.) *Having a life sucks balls*

Also got Math exames for my nightschool (That I musn't fail)

And since I'm still inactive as f*ck... =/


Sorry Gene, I know you put a hell lot of work in this, and trying to get all the members involved (why I love ya) but I can't make it. So sorry
