Weekly Tank Practice?

It's pretty clear our tanking has been horrible in the past while. It seems that at every miniwar we have barely anyone tank.
What is your opinion on weekly tanking events? It would be at the same time every week, counting as attendance every time.
The only thing is I can't see any way we can make it fun. It would have to be WG vs WG every time, but then the fights would be pretty small and the 'tanking' isn't very hard to do - it'll be on like 10 people max.
It's pretty obvious that we need the practice, but I don't see how we actually can practice. Going to w 17 isn't practice, that's against level 80.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Yeah, naked and rune scimmy usually works.
I'm all in favour of organizing weekly tanking practices, but the problem is not many people will turn up.
However, I think that if we put enough emphasis on it in terms of notices and importance, it could work. Also we could simply turn this into a weekly drill, where we can focus not only on tanking but various strategies.
The CWA is a very different area than the standard Tree to Tree warzone we had before and not many strategies have been developped concerning the CWA warzones, I think we could eventually get a headstart.
For example, unlike in the T2T area, hugging is possible without any energy and is less predictable (two rocks opposed to six walls to hug). This amplifies greatly the need for binders, as it was shown today.
DW pallied to this need by a] Having rangers that could reach their target without running (or less), b] Having the rest bind.
This double edge strategy allowed them to inflict both constant damage and higher damage, since we couldn't pray vs both combat styles.
We've got to try to get out of the standards and innovate, and I think that if we combined regular drills with a time to experience new strategies, it would make the sessions more interesting.

Maybe ask 3v0 to do some practices with us, they're in a slump right now as well, turn outs might be the same. Or the past, R Scim and an invo of food.

What Buzz said - We can ask 3v0 or TBE , someone made a brakoff from TBE called Wd, so they lost 10-15 members.

If you did weekly tanking practice, incorporate a miniwar, CWA in w17, or an interclan war or SOMETHING so that it's not the same boring event every week. Maybe the first 25 minutes go to tanking maybe? It wouldn't be hard to figure out.

I liked the 2v2 tournement last night. Obv it cant be 2v2 for tanking.but still tournements could be fun.
