We need something BIG...

Our progress in WG is sort of a straight line.
When we have our ups, they're usually followed by a down, making it even.
Like Elias said, our attendance is worse than 2003.

We need something big.
Something that will not only attract new members but make the current ones active.
It has to contain runescape but be tied in with the clan.

So far I have two ideas.

The first thing was a post by Stokenut.

ARPKing revived, as well as a campaign.
This will attract a whole group of people who think it's a worthy cause.


The second thing was my idea, GuardianScore.

I strongly think this will make the clan THAT much better.
It will have people doing things on runescape they wouldn't normally do.
We could hand out rare achievements for upcoming wars, getting better attendances.
I could even make a promotional youtube video for recruitment purposes.

I would have to disagree.
The work would be divided.

Robbie:
Add more awards to the current list.
Assign a point value to each.
A display bar that adds them up.

Randy:
Create more award ideas that may increase activity.

Tabs?, Lordy?, Anyone:
Create the award images.



Please actually post, even if your opinion is weak.
Add on to current ideas or create your own.

Don't have too much time, i'll edit in a full detailed response in a bit, but for now:

GuardianScore has my full support, despite the supposed 'Too much effort' required.

aRPKing is also something we need to work on, perhaps a topic on RSC really getting it out there?

We should do both. I'm organizing reestablishing the ARPK federation that we used to have a few years ago so that would tie in well with Steve's suggestion.

Both sound epic. We should implement GuardianScore and restart the protection of skillers.
Both have my full support. :>

The problem is in Robbie's share.
We can't expect anything from him.
Whatever he gives us is a gift. He's not obliged to work.

Perhaps we should send a spy into SE.
Hype up a rivalry.

I support both points, bringing back ARPK'ing will be fun & will spark Wg quite a bit.

Also, I do believe the Achievement system would greatly help us, it might look like it won't, but I'm quite sure a lot of people will compete with each other to get their Guardian Score higher, making our community a whole lot better.

P.S. - I agree with Randy, if it's a case of how long it takes Robbie to do it, then I don't mind waiting, 2 or 5 months, it'll be worth it.

5/5 councils agree on both subjects.
Elias, I don't see a harm in asking Robbie if he can do it, not like we're commanding him to do it.
If he can't, I would be happy to set it up manually.
What I mean is-

GuardianScore Forum
A sticky keeping track of everyone's achievements.
The first few weeks will be hell, but eventually it will settle down.
I'll have each member send me a Pm of their achievemets and edit them in one by one.
The GS highscores will be manually too.

That's just a thought.
