My first account was called Shovrook. When I created this account, I was a fanatic of chess. In Shovrook are two words: 'Shov' and 'Rook'. A rook, I believe you all know what it is in chess. As for Shov, I must explain something deeper.

My mother was learning Persian. I then asked what knight meant in that language. Again, the knight is one of the six pieces in chess and is also my favourite of all. Knight in Persian can be pronounced "Shovalieh". It sounds much like 'chevalier' in French. I found the phonemic transcription interesting and therefore decided to keep the Shovalieh to combine it with Rook.



One day, I ventured in the wilderness and lost my full mithril. OH DEAR, TRAGEDY!!! I lost my full mithril. Yeah yeah... I was a noob back then. Weren’t we all one once eh? I thought that I blew it with Shovrook. Nevertheless, I started to hate the name. A whole night, I couldn’t stop thinking about a RuneScape nickname. I wanted to make something starting with Shov. I spelled out many names until at last I came to say "Shovyk". YEAH! Shovyk really sounds as a name that was excavated. Even the six letters combined together gives a professional look I thought.

Since then, I never regretted to have called myself Shovyk. Today, it is my artist’s name and there could be a chance that when I will put my first album on the market, Shovyk will indeed become officially my artist’s name. I am proud of my name. Please please... do not write my name with an I instead of a Y. I hate it.



By the way, I gaved away the account Shovrook when I created Shovyk, before I came to know that it was against Jagex's rules. Shovrook is therefore still being played on.

This is my second post . I submitted an intro and I hope this will give those who need to know or are interested a little more information about me. My RS name is derived from the name given to a warrior serving in the Mekong Delta referred to as the Mekong Mangler, who by the way is not me just to avoid any misunderstandings. The name just got stuck in my memory. RS seemed like the perfect place to use the name. The extra M in Mmangler is because there are surprisingly other Manglers and a shortened representation of the "M" in Mekong.

I think I am the only person on this thread that can honestly say...I really have no idea where I got my name. Honestly I fail at coming up with usernames for stuff like games, and when I thought of it I guess I was like, good enough. Although my name does work out now since I love anything pvp related. Used to be real big into text-based rpg sites. First came the DBZ one, and I was Pikkon. I got to "Updater" status, which basically meant site admin. I learned how it all worked from that. When the site got hacked and destryoed, my buddy and I tried to create our own, but it didn't work. he suggested a Medieval Times style site. At first I was hesitant. But, sittin in histroy class one day (YAY HISTORY), i was NOT payin attention, but instead reading ahead in the Ancient Rome history chapter. I saw a bolded term, Imperator. It was defined as a title given to great roman commanders for their achievements on the battlefield. So, once I saw that, I loved it, and we began work on Medieval Times.

And thus, in 2002, Medieval Times was born. I was The Imperator there. Note that it says 2003 in the url, this is because that site was also hacked and we had to rebuild. Later in 2003, Runescape was discoverd, and all but the Updaters left to play it. I eventually gave in, and began playing runescape as Imperator07, because Imperator was taken, and 07 is my favortie number.

I wanted Zephyrus originally but couldn't get it. So I added a v and TADA new name. Ya, original eh?

Summer 2003 (Before RS2) I moved to Maine, USA where a friend known as CJ showed me RuneScape. I wasn't a big fan of gaming (Never have been) so I decided to have a go. I was 10 years old at the time, so I wanted my name to be "Kecool", "Ke" being short for my name Keanu and "Cool" the obvious. Kecool was taken though, so for reasons unknown to me, CJ added an "er" on the name of it, and thus Kecooler was born.

8th grade, my homeroom number was 27. We read A Midsummer Nights' Dream in English class that year, and I read the lines of Lysander, and I liked that name. Lysander 27 was taken, so I made Xlysander_27. Xlysander_27 got banned and I had no idea why at the time (Rule 1), so I made Xlysander_28.

About a year later, I decided to make a pure. I was playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for the GBA at the time, and my favorite weapon was the Reginleif. I decided to rearrange the last e and i, and thus "Reginlief_28" was born.

I used Reginlief_28 as an f2p range pure for quite a while (those WERE the days). Then, Xlysander_28, my main at the time, became permanently muted. So I decided to work on Reginlief_28 more, which became my main as a Range Tank.

With the name change update, I had changed my name a few times. First it was "Raygun Leaf" (A play on words on Reginlief that my friends called me), then "Dods Vinger" (Death's Finger in Norsk), then back to Reginlief_28.

Most recently however, I decided to change my name to the proper spelling of the Fire Emblem weapon. My name in RuneScape is now "Reginleif_28". I am F2P now so I can't change it back, nor do I really want to.

First change was from Wg_Keanu just to WG Keanu.

After that I had 2 war changes, a variation of "We Got Tea" for the Great War, and some insane combination of "Warhorse".

DHS was my first long term change, partially because I'd always wanted a 3-char RSN. Found out it stood for Department of Homeland Security, and was . Eventually got bored though.

WG Amethyst was after that, because my birthstone is Amethyst (Also purple in colour so it fit). When I started TBK I aptly changed it to TBK Amethyst.

iMushroom - I wanted something generic for Ascension, and I've always liked mushrooms. The good ones can feed you, the bad ones can kill you, the right ones can get you high so I thought why not.
