Allies in #wg

Aardvark PM'd me and asked if high ranked clan allies could be allowed into our main channel. I told him that one of the uses for #wg_lobby was so that allies and such could get in contact easily. Apparently though Candice from TDM doesn't go in there because of some incident between Dale and some other person that happened 4-5 months ago. So I told him that if it happened again they'd be dealt with but he still wants to see if it can be done so I said I'd post it here for him.

I'm not really for it so if you feel differently say so. I think it just defeats the purpose of the lobby.

I would have to say no. The channel is clan only and should remain that way. I don't want to talk about any clan secrets with an outsider because things spread. If they have a problem with someone NOT in WG in our lobby, not coming back instead of telling us makes no sense so that whole situation is stupid.

I'm with Randy.
The presence of an outsider would upset the entire environment of #wg.
It's really relaxed right now and you can just shoot the shit.
If our allies don't want to join the lobby because of Dale and some shit, we will have to work another way around it.

Would compromise security to have non-wg in the channel, no matter how trustworthy they are.

It would also feel like we're being analysed, and that would make everyone uncomfortable.

Yeah ok good, I think we all feel the same way about it. I'll try talk to Candice and Mark when I get the chance and see if she'll reconsider.
