Making Public Events

By His Lordship on 04/03/2008
This forum is here so that WG can share some of it's fun-making with the public. Some events are better with more people, and it also gives prospect members the chance to sample what this clan has on show.

Any member or guest may create an event. However only member-made events can count toward clan event attendance records.

------------------------

It is important that your topic stays up to date. Check other events to see the tags in square brackets ( [ ] ). This lets others know if the event is coming or has past. Here is what each is:

[Upcoming] - An event to happen any time in the future
[Now] - An event to mass for now.
[Occurring] - optional - Shows others that the event is going on.
[Finished] - An event that has ended

When making your own event, remember to put the event's status in the title. For example:

[Upcoming] Castle Wars

------------------------

What public events you choose to make are entirely up to you. Just remember to include the basic information:

1. What the event involves
2. Date and time
3. Equipment and level requirements if any
4. Meeting location and server

I'll try to stick to this when making events.

i does think this a good idea's to smile.gif
It helps people to know when it is which is good, so if it had already passed and they hadnt put the [Finished] sign there a person would be like "yea ill sign up"
so yea nice work biggrin.gif and nice work to the people who have organised those events, coz they have all stuck to it as well.

I was wondering..could a member give out rewards like a subscription to p2p? I can go to Target and buy a few 1 month subscriptions and give'em out for rewards, or is this against RS rules?

It's against Jagex rules to buy membership for others.

Ah, but it's not against Jagex rules to lend a friend some money so that they can buy themselves membership. Instead of buying the subscriptions, one could just PayPal the $5 to the winning member.
