Changes To WG: Summary

Before I name them, please note:
There are other important topics in IA.
1. Snowzak's "Six Weeks#"

3. Possibly others made by other council members.
Ensure they are all read, and not just this one, if it happens to be the one that appears on the forum index. This is a very busy forum right now, so check it thoroughly.

A summary of changes:
1. Return of the banner and new general features. Active Members on TS coming soon. Check out the search feature. It's been there for a while but works wonderfully. It covers every topic in every forum.
2. New app system. Check the Intro forum for the guide to joining, and then the apps forum for the updated form. App managers, your forum is below the app archive.
3. Sectors merged. All [F] and [S] members are regular members like the previously combined members. You maintain your ranks. [C] Members are all Emeritus now. Community Leaders are now Moderators, Raid Leaders are the same, Event Leaders were previously the Skills Leaders.
4. New forum layout. Best to explore this by yourself. Note in particular, we have a public events forum. If you have an event that you could possibly share with the public, make it public. It's good to show guests we have many varied events going on. Also remember to keep some events private. We can't give everything away for free.
5. New memberlists. We have our general one and our emeritus one. We hope to use both for the purposes of war.

I also will be working on the skin a little tomorrow, so that the post buttons appear. I'll probably design new better ones while I'm at it. And that cool background for post-making that everyone liked.
Hope you enjoy. Most of the changes are done. One we have a meeting next week, the council will discuss the points system and this updated form of WG should be in full motion.
Well, these are the changes I promised, so enjoy them. WG is definitely on the path back up and we can all feel it. There's more where this is coming from. All I can advise is to just enjoy yourself and don't worry so much about growth. Growth is important, but so is living in the present. Enjoy what we have now, not what we *will* have.

Finally, I've been waiting for the forums to come back up again. I thank the council for the great changes they've made, mostly the sector merge.

Looking good.. anyway, will this mean that we could see future applicants potentially spamming their way to 25 post counts just to apply for membership?
