CHristmas FIRE

Well last night at 4 am I hear an explosion. Went to check it out and SOMEONE left a candle lit on my new dining room table.
It had melted down and instead of extinguishing blew up.
I now have a huge burn mark on my lovely table.
I felt like crying.

I've never known of a candle to blow up like that... Was it in a container? And because they have the disclaimer that they should never be left unattended, you can't sue the maker of the candle. Drat.
