[Finished] God Wars Dungeon - Bandos

Trip to the God Wars Dungeon, mainly the Bandos area seeing as it's the easiest.

What to bring?
I've never been to the God Wars Dungeon, so I can't advise people on what they should bring. Instead, please use THIS guide from RSC to help you figure out what you should bring, and what you should do while we are there.

I'd also advise anyone who has done the quest "As a First Resort..." to use the spa that gives you immunity to Bandos for about an hour, the infinite run energy spa and the Prayer spa. It's your choice to use the spa that raises your HP.

Anyone who can, or is willing to tank, please let me know. In the link I've posted here, there is a picture of what is recommended for the tank.

Well, if you have a better time in mind, just let me know. If needed I could postpone the event. That following week I have off, so it's all good for me. I just decided a Friday night because many people might be home at that time, or possibly stay up late anyway.

If this isn't the case (which it seems isn't) then I'm fine with changing the date and time, as long as people who have already said they were coming aren't shoved out of the way.

Yeah everyone! I've heard trips can be as long as 1-2 hours? We've got about 4-5 people here that have said they'd be coming, so hopefully that is enough for a 1-2 hour trip.

Maybe have ready supplies for 2 trips. You never know, maybe we'll get a hilt at the end of trip one and we'll want to go back!

That is not a problem, I've never done it either. I suggest you use the link I gave in my first post.

Go over the Bandos section in that guide, it is very good. Just under the images he posts about recommended gear is a list of the best weapons and armor to use in order from best -> worst. I recommend trying to get as many of the best ones as possible.

Try to get a Verac's Plateskirt and a Karil's Leathertop and an Abyssal Whip at least, that way you just put on the Range protection prayer, while you leathertop deflects the mage attacks and the tank is taking the bulk of the melee damage.

If you can, try to get a Dragon Halberd because of it's special attack, which is much better than that of the Abyssal Whip.

It costs 325k at the shop, and about 220k from the GE. I have placed my bid at the maximum price, and am about to check if I have it yet.

I haven't done the quest for the dragon yet, but the barrows armor isn't a problem

Yeah, I'm sorry about that. The timezone converter I used messed up the EST time, giving me an hour early.

The GMT time is correct however.

Yeah...I've never hosted an event before so I don't really know what to do. I didn't intend to be the ring leader. I just wanted to get people interested in going as a clan.

We go there, was alright for a bit, but then some guys came and crashed us. End of story basically.

Yeah, what I meant by "Never really happened," was that it wasn't much of an "event".

I mean, I was gathering people together. We worked out problems that came up. It was going fine until a group of people decided to be idiots and crash. At that point the even basically ended.

Sorry to hear you guys got crashed. Coinshare is no honor these days. Kids aren't afraid to crash you. =[
