Bad Pop-up problem

Whenever I am on Firefox I will be just doing w/e and a new tab will pop up and start going to all these sites and it happens like every 2 minutes it happens again and again. Is there anything I can download or do to firefox to prevent this?

I already have that add-on but It doesn't prevent it from opening a new page.

Does it pop up when you go to a new site? Or just randomly, cuz if randomly, it may be a virus.

Tried 2 different tests on that popuptest.com
Only one got through. So it's low enough that I can deal with it.
