Event count
By Mickey on 17/01/2009
This might sound sad, but I made a goal, to attend enough events to get 100+ Rolling Event Count. I was on 98, and now I'm on 3? What the hell is up with that?
There are alot of people with their event count lowered, and alot of people with theres the same? Why?
/end rant

I told you not to get so worried ffs.
Maybe the numbers were getting too high for the system to cope with I dunno.
I had the highest rolling count and i'm not crying

Hopefully mine is not reset :<
By Mickey on 17/01/2009
If it was because it was getting too high, then why are there others that had the same rolling count as me still got theirs? Lol.
By Billy on 17/01/2009
I dont totally get the event system thingy, what does rolling event mean?

By Groedius on 17/01/2009
Does it matter ?
By Renegade3540 on 17/01/2009
Mine is normal. But it wasn't high anyways #

Rolling event count doesn't matter that much tho does it? If your in the 100's on that lol you don't have to worry. It is just there to weed out inactive people. I don't even think its that effective. It's nice to know how many events you go to though.

I dunno exactly why it did this; there was a seemingly unrelated error in the update code which I fixed.
I have restored *some* of your rolling counts - I keep track of the "rolling count at last update", so your count is now what it was at the last event you attended, or your current one, which ever is higher.
If yours didn't get fixed... Sorry. Anyone who got credit for attending an event sense this problem happened ended up with the same low value in the rolling count at last update value also... and so I can't fix it.
Honestly though, I really ought to fix this - I only intended for people to have a max of 12, or 3 months of no raiding before you get kicked for inactivity.

In that case, we should restart everyone's...
mine was well over 150, and thats nowhere near 12
By RobbieThe1st on 19/01/2009
Well, I have changed the active part of the system. Now, you will have between 0 and 15 rolling count, any more than 15 gets capped at 15, below 3 you start getting asked questions, and at 0 you will most likely get kicked for inactivity, unless a proper excuse can be given.
The slider still shows -3 to 12 though, so I am going to have to fix that.
