Hi, I've recently bought a new bedroom.
But now i got this old closet I dont want to waste.
Its in somekind of ugly wood, and since my bedroom is in oak with grey paintjob on it.
(Realy looks nice lol. :°) )
i would like to paint the closet in the same collor of grey, but i would like to use some kind of wood imitating technieks, I have graduated as Decorative designer and had to paint for like 6Years so i am a very good painter.
(Lol, you should see one of my paintings)
I learned how to use those technieks but that was like 4years ago, so i realy fergot how to do that.
Any1 that might know how to do it? or might know a good website where i could read on how to do it? that might be a good help for me.
I've been browsing the web but didnd realy find anything.
Any of you guys dot happen to know where to find such a tutorial?
Thanks in advance, Joery.

Yeah this is a good place or Real life forum.
The library has some good books, I want to say it is a certain technique but I don't recall the name.
HGTV has shows that show how to do it yourself stuff. I would check there website and look at some of the shows like "Clean Sweep", "Design on a Dime" and the show where Boys vs Girls in redecorating their bedrooms.
Good Luck. If you find anything interesting let me know. I'm repainting the family room to look like log cabin walls this summer I think.
You might want to check home depo web site they might have something there too.
