Maths might lose his job :3

Basically I have a casual job at this discount store.
Been working there just over 3 years.
Found out today, our company owes the bank 96 million dollars.
The bank has basically pulled the plug and given the company 8 wks ~ 3 months to repay the debt owed.
Basically we're trying to sell the whole company to somebody else.
If its not sold we'll probably all lose our jobs.

Edit: Basically I use the money from the job to fund my uni degree. So ya.

Omg that's horrible. Go into medical employment they are the safest and lease likely to loose jobs.

Job's in the medical sector don't just like.... fall out of tree's in front of you.
I Work for the Local Govt. in New Zealand, and it is good stable work, but I have done the job before and I saw allot more competition this year when applying as people realised that working in retail wasn't such an easy option this year.
Good luck finding something to potentially reaplce that Job (I'd start looking now even if you havent lost your job)

JC is right, start looking now. Here in the US they need alot of people to work in the medical departments. They are always short on staff.

Dang thats a bummer, i recently got a newsletter through from my company saying that they are certain our jobs will be safe, we have alot of work coming up in the coming months.
Also even if we run out of work, they company could survive offof the maintenance side of things, just until things pick up.
