Meh, whatever. It would probably be a good thing in the long run.
As for right now..don't really care about it one way or the other..
Btw, I doubt it is going to happen anyway.

What are you talking about?
The EU is in itself stronger than the US or China. The NAU would be a kick ass idea. It brings countries together, easier to make money, a generalized currency, free trade, meaning no borders.
It would boost the Mexican economy instead of allowing countries to take advantage of them. Which would lower the poverty there as well as lower the amount of illegal immigrants going to the US or Canada.
As well, a union based currency is much more stable and stronger than a single country currency. It's also more universal.
I like the idea, but guarantee it won't happen until Mexico is cleaned up (no offense).

It'll never happen. It could actually sink Mexico into further poverty. Looking at the EU, in some countries, because they switched to the Euro, the cost of living went dramatically up to the point where alot of families and especially the small villages couldn't afford the cost of living.

Yeah but that's because of that own countries lack of organization. For example, in Spain, when they switched to the Euro from the Peseta. As you said, the Euro was more in some countries, which it was about double the value of the Peseta. Now any country with half a brain would simply adjust their prices to the Euro. But instead, what happened is businesses in Spain figured they would charge the same in Euros as they did for the Peseta. And obviously, they had a big problem in Spain because of that. As I said, all you need to do is pass a law to adjust prices to the euro or something and that problem would be solved.
Secondly, you have to know that any transition like the EU takes time, there's still European countries being reviewed or accepted in to the EU, it's a long process. BUT, the benefits are way worth it.
