Yes of course

I always do my best to help others in many ways whether its joining or if they just need a friend to talk to, and I do my best to say hello and gratz etc to our members, this is especially important when new members join etc, some are very excited to join us then try to fit in and or chat in a public irc convo but are ignored and feel like they arent accepted and then slowly fade away
A good example would be Ansats recent re-post in intro's it lets you know how these people feel on the inside and if you didnt take time to read the "very few" posts that replied to his, do so again because there is a new member that posted that has been very quiet, he was excited when he joined and now by reading his reply to Ansat you can see he feels the same way, Its Mojo btw.
http://www.wildernessguardians.com/forum/i...?showtopic=9316 People need to feel accepted not rejected, ive been seeing a clique growing in wg since the return of a few members that quit us a while back, to me WG was more of a family b4 one or two of them returned. They seem to stuck on themselves to even take one second of thier life to say hello or to post in forums etc, its not hard to see this growing in our community, and it angers me.
If we want members to feel welcome especially the new ones then this behaviour needs to be controlled.
I mean look at all the people in our channel and then look at whose talking, and also pay attention to whom is being ignored, when they speak in irc and are blatantly over looked like they dont even exist, this happens daily, every single day. Even when they post a lvl gain in channel only a few say gratz the others keep on chatting and sometimes no one says gratz at all to them. Its selfish and conceited and just out right rude.
I undertand you calling on us, but I think it cant just be dependent upon us to make up for how some of our members make others feel, we need a better plan and course of action.
Another example was when April posted a vid of her at BH yesterday, she worked hard on it and posted it on youtube then in our channel several times, did anyone take a few minutes to watch it, or even compliment her on it or anything? Not that i saw, I did watch it and compliment her on youtube, just another example of someone being ignored on purpose, Idk what people have against her or whatever but Ive seen her try and talk in chat as well and be ignored by the ones that blab away non-stop thinking our irc is thier own or whatever, thats totally anti-community.
