WAC
By Anatcrafter on 22/01/2009
Do we really need this forum? Stoke's thread has really pissed me off, mainly from the people who demand the warn to be removed when Jess did the right thing.
He then claims to edit it to remove some of the bias and flames in his original post but the first line is a freaking flame. "Edited my flames and explanations as to why I feel she's a power-abusing douche bag.". Somehow I feel like people are missing the point of this forum and we could do better off without it. All it seems to be doing now is embarrassing the staff member who gave the warn, turning people against them to pressure for the warn to be removed.
What I believe should happen instead is that if a member feels they were warned unfairly then they should get in contact with the staff member in PM and discuss it. Publicly displaying it seems to be doing nothing worthwhile and if we really need to have a vote on someone's warn we can do it in level 3 anyway.
I'm also aware that Jess has been causing some problems lately in regards to her job and that something is going down between her and Steve at the moment. However I can't fault her on this occasion and I don't think it has anything more to do with why the WAC should go.

I totally agree. Warning shouldn't require anything to get rid of but our judgment.
...and the forum's ugly

Never liked it, Never used it.
Appeals get degraded when staff see fit IMO.

Told you so...
Oh wait. I told the last council so.
Remove it.
