My two weeks?

Quite frankly, I'm pissed off.

We have some of the laziest and most arrogant members in WG. If it was up to me, there would be a shit load of people kicked out, but since it's against the rules, I guess I'll just kick myself out? Our community has gone to hell. I spent 3 hours last night talking Mark out of quitting, convincing Abs, Rob, and Stoke that promoting Groedius wasn't killing the clan, and breaking up extremely pointless arguments in the irc. What the hell happened?

It's almost like no one wants to be here. They skip clan events to cut virtual trees, refuse to be nice with each other, and have no respect for the leadership. Why do we want these people here? Well, I'm tired of them.

WG has changed. We used to be like "Anyone want to go pking?" and #wgwilderness would fill up in ten seconds. Now people act like we force them to pk. The amount of excuses are absurd, and the ones that do want to pk blame it on the leadership rather than the troublesome members. It sucks.

Sorry Elias, you wanted me to be a second in command, but I want to lead The Wilderness Guardians, not the Skillers Guild. Shitty situation at a shitty time. Wg has dug themselves into an extremely deep whole that all the strongest of councils couldn't climb themselves out of.

If this really is my two weeks, it starts today, and I will only post it publicly in one week from now.



Am I letting them down, or have they let me down?

Randy. I've had the same feelings. Honestly, there are sometimes where I wish I could just go to the Goodbyes forum, post, and never think about this again. We have a lot of members that are awesome, and a lot that don't give a fuck and don't try. People at one point joined this clan in for the fun of warring and events. They promised to be active. Obviously, it was just another thing on the Application that they had to say to get in.

I have SERIOUSLY considered leaving, but somehow I convince myself I'd "miss my friends."

Randy, we may have to start this clan from scratch and restate what exactly we want. We can literally delete the member list, and ask who wants to be on a member list that requires you to have DESIRE to pk and do pkri's and pvp raids and wars. We say this clan is Community, Skilling, AND Warring. They take that and say, Warring is 1/3 as important as it should be.

We pulled 33 to the PKRI today. Just what the fuck. I managed not to express my anger very much, as I wanted to keep morale high for the PKRI itself.

Just get over the arrogant members and push them around a bit and show them who's boss.
They need to respect the rules of this clan.
Agreed 100% that the culture has to change.
