Council votes

By Troll84 on 30/01/2009
Considering the large lack of faith in the council at the moment, I propose when the council nominations are over, we set up a forum to which only guardian+'s can vote (trials can view), with a poll inside it with the council nominees and a link to their application - This would ensure that people knew the election was not rigged, as they seem to all be PMS'ing about at the moment.

I personally, if we go with this, would like to be the one to make the forum & the topic inside it, in order to 'clear my name' as it were of being the huge culprit behined the 'OBVIOUS council rigging@@@@@' wacko.gif

I agree. Only problem is that the applicants are never allowed to vote, but meh

For Winter Awards, I saw this too as a problem, but to be honest, the vote will doubtfully come down to it being one vote apart. Also, i'd assume that most of them would vote for themselves anyway.

Best not to do that.
It is done in PM for a reason.
We use a preferential ballot.
We allocate secondary preferences, thus making each vote stronger.
