Do you bless?

Just a question i'm putting out to the community.
Do you bless people's graves when they die (read below before responding).

Basically people do die at events like gwd + dks.
When they die, a grave appears, and you have the option to bless + help that person obtain their stuff back.
However do you do so?

Personally, I only bless friends.
That includes people I know, and people that are in my clan(s).
However, when it comes to forum randoms, I'm not too sure I'd totally bless them.
Most of the time, they die at dks/gwd due to pure stupidity, not connection problems. If they do die on their own account, I actually don't feel inclined to bless their grave. For 3 reasons.

1) Not blessing reduces the items in the rs economy, which means person A that died will have to rebuy those, making more demand for them in the rs economy. This may lead to a price rise in that item (d boots, arma chest, arma legs, fury). Half of these items are actually dropped by bosses, which you are hunting, so a higher price = bigger split.

2) People that die cut your trip short. Say you're at dks with a hybrid, they die + you then have to solo hybrid. A task which is hard to complete on fast spawning worlds. You then use up your resources quicker + your trip is shortened.

3) What's the chance of ever meeting that same person again? If, by their own stupidity, they die the first time, why would you go on another trip with them?

So I'm wondering what you guys out there do?
Do you bless only your friends?
Or do you bless everybody?

I bless everyone. Idc about my prayer points, and i'd hope people would do the same to me.

If I had the prayer level, I would bless everyone, dunoo why, but I would want people to do it for me, so yea.

I bless friends and sometimes randomers. But there was a trip where me and Justin got crashed, so I lured prime and stuff onto me and stood next to them and red barred one and killed the other. I wouldn't have blessed if they would have died.

If I have the chance to bless I will bless.

If I'm at DKs and getting owned after a friend has died, I will try to bless their grave. But if I die also, it does neither of us any good.

i only bless friends too.

Tbh i usually only bless my friends so people on my list or in my team. Most GWD teams now forbid you to bless crashers because that makes them less likely to return to annoy us again.

People who don't bless are kind of arrogant Unless there's a reason not to of course

I bless unless they were being an asshole or trying to crash my world. I've made countless DK/GWD crashers die

I've only ever died to d/c. As best as I can recall.

I would unless I have a reason not to. Kind of goes back to the whole honor/protection deal.

Unless there is reason such as crashing etc I would bless anyone. There is no proof of it but just the idea of karma or what goes around comes around.

I wait for the person to return after their grave has died so I can flame them and laugh at them.




In other words, I don't have the level for it.

I bless everyone I like/have no opinion of. If i dislike someone, i won't bless.

I bless only people i know at bosses. But if im just skilling somwhere... or walking around i bless everyone because i think they might care... and its just a few prayer points

If its a team member at GW or something, then yeah, I'll bless them. I feel inclined to since I do jack squat when I'm there, so I might as well try to hit the boss and bless the tanker's grave just because I feel like dead weight... If they're crashers/leeching though, I won't do it, lol.

If they're RoT and stuff, I won't bless for obvious reasons. Most of the time I usually do though.

I would only bless if they were my friend, or nice to me. If they were a total jerk off or tried crashing then screw them. And I would also bless anyone if it was throughout RuneScape and not at a boss.

Usally i bless every grave I see, unless that person who died was annoying.

I wouldn't bless if I got there items but since that's not the case I bless anyone who dies near me because it's good karma

I have never seen anyone die near me but I probably would end up blessing their grave because I'm a nice guy and stuff! Karma!

Do unto others what you wish they would do to you. I've always been nice to everyone in RS and in RL cause they are real people and why do you have to be an ass. I feel good if I make others feel good and at the end of the day if they take it for granted or scam me (in rs) I really don't give a damn.

this happend to me when i traied to bless last time :XD

I always bless. I have even run to the bank to get a prayer pot if i don't have enough prayer to bless. Not sure why, I just do.

I can't bless, because I'm 60 prayer.
If I could I'd only bless friends or someone who died after a drop split.
